he Melissa & Doug Suspend Family Game is an absolute winner for our family game nights. We've had a blast playing it, and it's one of those rare games that genuinely appeals to everyone, from our youngest family members to the adults. The premise is simple but the execution is surprisingly challenging. You start with a simple stand and then take turns adding the notched, rubber-tipped wire pieces. Each piece you add shifts the balance, creating a unique, abstract sculpture. The tension builds with every turn, and the final piece is always a heart-stopping moment. It requires a steady hand and a good eye for balance, making it a fantastic way to develop hand-eye coordination and problem-solving skills in a fun way. What I love most is the durability and quality of the game. The pieces are well-made and sturdy, designed to withstand plenty of family use. This game is a blast! The suspense of balancing the wires keeps everyone on edge, and even adults get just as nervous as the kids. My family couldn’t stop laughing at the inevitable wobbles and collapses. Simple to learn, quick to play, and perfect for ages 8+. A guaranteed crowd-pleaser for game night!

The best game for adults who do not like games Great for teenagers also. Challenging and fun. There’s no luck in this game.

Absolutely a fun game. A must have.

Unfortunately the instructions or on the inside of the label, which cannot be removed from the container unless it is torn up. My kids are younger and they have zero patience for this balancing game, but I like the challenge.

Had the suspend game open for 15 minutes, and my 8 year old, unprompted, can't stop saying "epic, fun, this is the best game ever!" And all other positive words he can think of. We played a quick round with it and my 12 year old keeps exclaiming how fun it is. Right now the 8 year old is trying to see all the different combinations that can be made before the tower falls to the table and if he can use all of each colored piece, etc. I like how easy this game is. I think my 5 year old will be just as excited to play it as well. I love games that teach and can be used in many ways. This game teaches weight scales and what can tip them, in the most basic sense. When we played it as a game, I honestly didn't read the rules, but told my kids that you take tuns rolling and laying down the color. When the tower falls, you start over; so there are no winners or losers. They were fine with those rules and enjoyed just seeing where they could place the next piece. As an adult, I was highly interested too!

Suspend is a great family game, suitable for a larger range of ages than most other games on the market. It’s sturdy, very travel-friendly, and while you can pick it up quickly (no pun intended), there are lots of ways to keep it interesting. It’s a great gift for that person that you don’t know what to get something for, too!
