OxyLED Replacement LED Bulbs for Outdoor Garden String Lights,12 Clear LED Bulbs Warm White

Normally I buy 1000 strings of LED fairy lights for our garden tree each year. They don’t ever last through to the next Christmas, they rust or get damaged somehow. These Oxyled festoon lights are much more robust, they have moulded sockets with proper bulb holders and removable bulbs. I linked two sets up in a chain and was able easily set them on the 25ft pine tree with a long stick and hook. Doing that with dainty fairy lights is tricky and removing them is impossible without a cherry picker lift. The oxyled have survived being removed this year, taking them off was almost as easy as unwinding walking round the tree. I had more comments of admiration too, they are really nice with warm glow, not at all offensive.My only caution is that I never found the correct extension lead because there’s so many that look similar. The distance to the first bulb is only about 2 ft so do consider this. I had to cut then solder an extension to get the distance I needed to the tree outside. I was happy to take that responsibility given the price of getting custom festoon lights made.

Bought last year for summer when spending evenings in the garden so able to leave a proper review now.Like many have stated, they come completely tangled. No idea how its possible to have them in such a mess but somehow they managed it.But that’s the only negative, took me about 10 minutes to detangle the whole lot.I chose these because the bulbs, cover and everything is plastic so won’t shatter by accident. Their design means rain can’t penetrate when installed properly and I haven’t had any water damage.It comes with two spare bulbs and only recently have I had to swap two out. As a bulb starts to fail you can clearly see it dim compared to other units so it’s easy to identify.Others have stated theirs ‘melted’ and yes the two bulbs I swapped out had turned black at the base but because I didn’t continue to use them before swapping out no damage was done. The end with the plug on is very short, maybe only a meter before the first bulb but wasn’t an issue as I’d planned where to install my external socket which is also remote controlled so I can turn the lights on without having to go outside.The opposite end has a connector to allow you to extend the circuit but 128ft was perfect for our garden.We like these lights so much we continue to use them all year round as they provide a nice warm light around the garden.

Bought to replace normal filiment bulbs that wee slowly failing. These led ones screwed straight in, don't get anywhere near as hit as the old filament types did and produce slightly more light too.So far the first ones I fitted have been in 6 months now and are still going. I've replaced all the old ones finally and even thought the bulbs have different usage times they don't show signs of changing colour or fading out.

Aug 2020 - First impressions - these are a surprisingly bright and aesthetically pleasing product and the only initial downside was the shortness of the cable between the plug and first lamp. However I decided to leave it for a while before reviewing to see how the product would fair during the summer and sadly the answer is not well with five bulbs failed already and the weather hasn't even been poor. These bulbs are advertised as lasting 50,000 hours which is clearly not the case in "the real world". I hoped, given this is quite an expensive purchase, the quality and longevity would be better but I am left disappointed and therefore would not recommend hence 2 star review.**UPDATE Nov 2020** So I am encouraged by three things: firstly, no further bulb failures despite a turn in the weather so perhaps I was just unlucky on the first batch; secondly, customer services proactively picked this review up (took a little time but I am going to blame COVID for that) and sent replacement bulbs FOC and finally, replacement bulbs are also now available to purchase on Amazon (£10 for 4 so not cheap but at least they are available). Given these factors, I think it is fair to increase my review to 4 stars with a cautionary note that you may suffer early bulb failure but if you do I suggest you directly contact the customer support team (details in your order)

The media could not be loaded.  Turning garden section into a courtyard and saw these lights for sale. Decided to ordered these, delivered early. Saw comments saying you cant get spare bulbs. Emailed OxyLed with my concerns regarding the lack of acquiring spare bulbs. I received an email, from melody, Oxyled support team, the next day saying. " that their product specialists are actively communicating with suppliers". They were going to look at this and would get back to me, which they did. The bulbs were for sale approx one month of my purchase. Cannot fault OxyLed.com. Melody from their support team was fantastic and said any other issues please get in touch. I rated all five stars, I would go further and say ten. the lights give a lovely warm glow, recommended.Update Jan 2022. got these Oct 2020. Since October 2020, the lights have been hit with high winds, torrential rain and still no bulbs have failed. I did buy a pack of spare bulbs and they are still in the box. Still thinking of buying another set of 128ft lights, with wife's approval! Highly recommend these lights.

Das wichtigste ist, sie funktioniert und leuchtet relativ hell.Leider war direkt nach Inbetriebnahme eine Birne kaputt.Lieferung war ziemlich schnell, Freitag bestellt, Dienstag da.Volle Punktzahl auch wenn eine Birne kaputt war, Fehler passieren den besten und so eine Birne kann auch mal unterwegs kaputt gehen.Gut dass eine als Ersatz dabei war, wäre trotzdem klasse wenn ich da wieder eine bekommen könnte;)

Les ampoules sont parfaites pour ma guirlande guinguette extérieure mais un peu fragiles
