My husband uses this drum to hold his DEF (Diesel Engine Fluid) for his truck! He was so happy with it and how easily it worked. He keeps it in the garage and can easily fill up his truck at home instead of stopping at a fuel station.

Product works excellent and is easy to set up. My only gripe is I wish that it was water proof so we could leave it outside but the connections do not look water tight. It does not have an auto shot off but it does not effect the unit to much.

Thoughtful design, meant for DEF. Dual power, 12v battery or plug-in power supply is handy feature. First use, circulating DEF conditioner thru 55-gallon barrel for 30-minutes, No leaks. Love the handle clips into body of pump. Keeps handle above drum level, and keeps handle from flopping around. Handle has a clip to hold lever on for large volume fills or for circulating additive.

This pump works. I bought two, one failed. I tore it down to find the cause and it was a daisy chain of events that failed the unit. Root cause, a very tiny shaft seal let go. Fluid got in and wrecked the motor. Motor fried the circuit board. Now I will say, the remaining pump works well. The design flaw, (I never thought to even think about) was the fact this pump assembly has a submerged DC motor in a plastic case. The shaft of the motor goes thru a tiny seal. Why they didn't just extend the shaft and put the motor out of the fluid, I don't know. Cost probably. If your like me, mechanically inclined. First thing I did was find a parts list. Second thing contacted the US wholesaler. They don't have any replacement parts, nor do they know how to get them. I have spent countless hours looking for a seal, motor, and PCB. Nothing. I checked all over China, and can't find anything. Kudo's to Blue1 for doing a good job on their patent. I did find a similar PN to the motor and oddly enough it was Japanese, but no direct match. Recommendation, if you buy one of these, before you use it, take it completely apart and apply waterproof grease. The kind found in Lowes for lubing the mixer assembly in kitchen faucets. All of the rubber in this thing is BONE DRY. If it has a rotating part, like hose to dispenser or the motor it's going to fail eventually due to no lubrication. My next drum pump will have a motor outside of the drum.

Worked like supposed to. Does not have shut off
