Outstanding product. Beautiful, expertly crafted. Straight with just enough irregularity to let you know it came from a real sapling. Strong but light weight. The inlaid medallion in the handle is a very nice touch. Would buy again and may just do so in a different length. Highly recommended.

This walking stick is awesome. Well crafted, sturdy and the right height for my husband. He didn't want to use a cane. Often times the canes don't cater to his height. He loves this walking stick, he can walk upright and with ease. The rubber foot on the bottom makes it easy to use on sidewalks and asphalt. Definitely a keeper.

Absolutely stunning craftsmanship! I discovered this company when I met a disabled person with a Brazos walking stick. My walking stick was thoughfully crafted and is great of quality. I love the sanded swirls, the leather string, the embedded Brazos coin, rubber foot, and do not mind the slight quirkiness. I want to get a walking stick for each family member of our household. I actually purchased 2 of these at the same time. One arrived with holes in it from an insect pest that bores into the wood. Appeared to have taken residence before the walking stick was sealed and went on a feeding spree. Returned the infested stick because I did not want to risk infesting the wood structures of our home with a wood eating insect all because I wanted walking sticks for our flat Florida hikes. Will try to buy more when they are back in stock.

This is a solid wooden walking stick. Loved the twisted appearance but not the stark contrast in color between the brown and tan. Yet highlly recommend this walking stick.

4 stars only because of the weight. Description says "under 1 pound". I weighed on a digital scale and it weighs about 3.2 pounds! Too heavy for a walking stick - for this 70 year old at any rate. Seems odd because the oak cane I bought from them is very light weight, but, the cane is obviously a good bit shorter and much thinner. This stick is very thick. Other than that is is well made and beautiful. Sending it back and getting a pine one.

A few days ago, I was walking my small dog around the neighborhood, and encountered a woman with an unleashed pitbull. Her dog came running to me and my dog, and I was afraid it would end up badly. Also, I am 69 years old and have some balance issues at times. At first I felt silly paying for a stick. But I have to say this Brazos Walking Stick is a very well-made and handcrafted item. It will be not only useful in fending off any animals, but also for added stability when walking. The one I received is very straight for a natural product, and very sturdy. The rubber tip will be perfect for walking around the neighborhood and through the park. It has a nice finish and I am pleased. It did come in a huge box, but I’m sure that helped protect it during transit. It is also nice to get something that is made by a small company in the United States.

Great walking staff but it arrived with no rubber base.

Beautifully made, good size and a comfortable grip. Reasonably light weight but very strong. 58” or 147mm. Good size. Ideal for a taller person walking in Japan, but you are able to shorten the pole if required. Handy thong at the top to prevent loss and hang the pole. The rubber foot is useful if walking on harder surfaces, especially going up or down. Added bonus is the potential to fend off wild animals, if the need shold arise! I also like the twisted pattern, it matches my current, shorter walking stick, inherited from my great-grandfather. Outstanding service by the seller, who imported these from the USA. They kept me informed every step of the way, and at every transit point. Items were delivered ahead of time, despite the long and complex delivery route from the USA. Would highly recommend them.

Really well made and sturdy. I was worried this would arrive maybe just wrapped in plastic with tags on it because it’s so big but it came in a big, long box so the Christmas surprise wasn’t ruined! I bought this for my husband, he is 6’4” and it’s a good height, I couldn’t find anything this tall in stores.

The hickory walking stick is beautifully handcrafted and spiralled. Be aware though, Amazon shippers have no care for this fairly expensive and lovely product and plastered it with shipping and labelling stickers with industrial adhesive. Two hours later I am still trying to gently peel off the labels. I tested a small patch with isopropyl alcohol and it ruined the natural sheen. Please train the shippers to have a care for natural wood products, there are alternatives that could have easily been used to attach the label.

I have had so many people come up to me and asked me where I got that walking stick. It’s very easy to walk with. Helps with your balance looks really sharp and the price is great.
