Bought this for my brother for his birthday. He had just mentioned a few months prior how much he loved palm trees. Well, this book is the definitive book on palm trees, complete with the latin palm parts, names and beautiful frame-worthy prints. He was delighted! He said he had been looking at this book and had wanted it.

Like the others in the series, this is a Tome to Palms. As a naturalist and an artist, I find these reference plates indispensable.

I love this gorgeous book. Beautiful inside and out. The best part is the size. It’s small and layers well with other books. I really wish there were more like this because it’s perfect.

BEAUTIFUL book. I bought this as an anniversary present for my boyfriend since I couldn't find the larger table top version. The whole book is filled with amazing pictures, I was surprised at the size and quality for the price. He looks at the book everyday and I almost wish I had bought it for myself.

This is a truly beautiful book. For anyone who loves trees this book is a shear joy to look through. The illustrations are detailed enough for botanical research, and fine enough to be enjoyed for their artistic value.

This is a wonderful book, but I thought I was buying an appropriately sized art book. I think it should be clearer that this is an undersized version somewhere in the title. I had to search through the description a few times when it arrived to realize my mistake.

I wish I read the book size detail. I was looking for a coffee table bok size not this compact one. I can still use it to look at it for inspiration purposes but not the size I wanted. Just FYI. This is smaller than 8.5 by 11.

The book is fine...it was just not the type of book I wanted. I wanted one with pictures of each palm tree and key features....this book is for botanists who want to identify the different trees.
