Review: Excellent germination and very fast growth - I’ve tried a few grass seeds in the last year and this one is by far the best. It’s sprouts quickly and the grass is very green right from the start. The blade start out very fine and need watering at least twice a day for the first eight weeks to become well established. This seed does better when covered with some topsoil but I think that’s for all seed. The important thing is to start mowing it once it’s not very fragile to promote root growth . It’s a blend of different grass seeds and I’m hoping it will grow during the winter as well. But I’ve used single type grass seed and none of them have grown as well as this blend. You get a fair amount of grass seeds and I have to say I’ve had excellent germination. As long as it gets water and preferably covered with some topsoil, it has grown. I am very happy with this and definitely recommend this if you’re not having luck with other brands

I’ve tried a few grass seeds in the last year and this one is by far the best. It’s sprouts quickly and the grass is very green right from the start. The blade start out very fine and need watering at least twice a day for the first eight weeks to become well established. This seed does better when covered with some topsoil but I think that’s for all seed. The important thing is to start mowing it once it’s not very fragile to promote root growth . It’s a blend of different grass seeds and I’m hoping it will grow during the winter as well. But I’ve used single type grass seed and none of them have grown as well as this blend. You get a fair amount of grass seeds and I have to say I’ve had excellent germination. As long as it gets water and preferably covered with some topsoil, it has grown. I am very happy with this and definitely recommend this if you’re not having luck with other brands

As an avid gardener, I take great pride in maintaining a lush and vibrant lawn. With high expectations, I recently purchased the X-Seed Ultra Premium Quick and Thick Lawn Seed Mixture, 20-Pound. Unfortunately, my experience with this product was extremely disappointing. In this thorough and detailed review, I will provide an honest and unbiased assessment of the product, sharing my personal experience and covering all key points to ensure helpfulness. Product Description: The X-Seed Ultra Premium Quick and Thick Lawn Seed Mixture is marketed as a high-quality seed blend designed to promote quick and robust lawn growth. With its promise of a thick and healthy lawn, it seemed like the perfect solution to revitalize my lawn. Germination and Growth: Upon receiving the product, I followed the instructions meticulously, preparing the soil and evenly spreading the seed mixture. However, despite providing optimal conditions, the germination and growth were extremely disappointing. The majority of the seeds failed to sprout, and the few that did struggled to establish themselves. It was evident that the promised quick and thick growth was nowhere near reality. Quality and Viability: One would expect a premium lawn seed mixture to have a high-quality and viable seed content. Regrettably, that was not the case with the X-Seed Ultra Premium blend. Many of the seeds appeared to be of poor quality, with inconsistencies in size and color. This lack of quality affected their viability, leading to an overall lackluster result. Sparse Coverage: With a 20-pound package, I expected sufficient coverage for my lawn. However, the seed mixture fell far short in this aspect as well. Despite carefully following the recommended seeding rate, the coverage was sparse and patchy. It was disheartening to see large areas where the seeds simply did not germinate, leaving unsightly gaps in my lawn. Resistance to Weather Conditions: Another important factor when considering a lawn seed mixture is its resistance to various weather conditions. Unfortunately, the X-Seed Ultra Premium blend did not live up to its claims. During a period of heavy rainfall, the seeds washed away, leaving bare soil exposed. Additionally, even during moderate drought conditions, the seedlings were unable to withstand the lack of water, resulting in their demise. Lack of Durability and Longevity: A successful lawn seed mixture should not only provide quick growth but also ensure the durability and longevity of the lawn. However, the X-Seed Ultra Premium blend failed to deliver in this aspect as well. The few seedlings that did manage to survive were weak and easily damaged. Furthermore, within a short period, they started to thin out and become sparse, leading to a lack of consistency in the overall appearance of my lawn. Customer Support and Satisfaction: Given my disappointment with the product, I reached out to the company's customer support for assistance. Regrettably, the experience was equally unsatisfactory. The representative I spoke with seemed disinterested and provided little helpful guidance. It was evident that the company did not prioritize customer satisfaction or stand behind their product. Conclusion: In conclusion, the X-Seed Ultra Premium Quick and Thick Lawn Seed Mixture, 20-Pound, is a product that I cannot recommend.
