Awesome shorts. The liner is so useful. I didn't even know there was one and it is detachable too; haven't really tried using it with different shorts cause I don't have any other awesome biking shorts to bike with other than this shorts. The shorts is pretty tough too and will be durable rain or shine (because one time I was in the middle of riding when the rain came down pouring); in fact, it dried up quickly when the sun shone back but you can't really feel overwhelming wetness. Awesome shorts for biking, and awesome fit. I don't know about hardcore bikers but I only ride my mtb in an urban area, I don't know what to say how it fares up to extreme conditions. But I must say, it stays fresh even after two weeks of using it an hour each day.

The design and features are superior. However, I'm a bit disappointed with the tight fit. I went up an inch and change to ensure fit. I have a 34" waist and ordered the 36" due to be previous experience with Fox products, however, the 36 fits with zero room to spare. That aside, everything else is perfect. The pockets are in all the right places. The material is lightweight but durable. The removable chamois is very comfortable. Rides beautifully; I routinely go on 15 to 20 mile rides in the hot Texas summer and I haven't experienced any burn or chafing.

My husband really likes these shorts. They are adjustable and the cushy shorts are removable, but they must be comfortable because he ended up wearing them for hours after our bike ride. He's a tall guy, and they weren't too short on him.

I like the look and fit of these Fox Ranger shorts. They are comfortable on the bike and look good off so I wear them to the pub post ride. The liner if fairly comfortable for 3 hour rides but I don't expect it to last for more than a few months since I ride almost every day. I use good road bike shorts as a liner for longer treks.

These shorts are sized really small. I normally wear a 34 waist in any pants or shorts. Had to exchange for 36W. Otherwise, the materials and construction appear excellent.

Really nice mountain bike shorts. Seem well made and the detachable liner is nice. Too tight around the waist for me though. Gave me a muffin top. The mediums were a little too big. Oh well. They were great about the return.

The short is very confortable and resistant. Four pockets two in front and two cargo. The insert is good but I though it was more puffed.
