Storm Collectibles Ultra Street Fighter II: Ryu The Final Challengers Action Figure

The Storm Collectibles Ultra Street Fighter Ryu is a pretty terrible figure. This figure has some of the goofiest proportions of any Storm Collectibles figure. The feet are enormous to the point of looking like clown shoes. The legs and chest look like they belong on an Olympic weightlifter and not on this character. Good luck getting him to hold a dynamic pose with those clown shoes for feet and enormously heavy torso. To add to his ridiculous proportions, the arms and head(s) are in proportion to each other (but very out of proportion with the rest of the body). His gi was sculpted to look baggy instead of form fitting. This is a problem because of the extremely short peg connecting the head to the neck. And if that was not enough... do not ever attempt to remove the back piece of the headband (hachimaki). Once it comes off, it refuses to peg back in.This figure does have some positives, including the number of alternate heads (4 including the primary head), hands, and the hadouken display piece (and stand for it). But, this figure would have been so much better with accurate proportions, since its height scales very well with the Storm Collectibles Sagat figure. But alas, it was not to be.

It's a really nice figure!!! It was released in time and in good shape!!! Thank you!!!

As much as I would appreciate a Ryu figure OUTSIDE Street Fighter V, this incarnation of the most generic fighting game character of all time is extremely dull. I ain’t a big fan of SFII either, seeing how it’s forbidden popularity has made THIS likeness of him TOO COMMON 🙁Of course this action figure wouldn’t be quite as dull if it were repainted into his “Hyper Fighting” colors😀By the way, why hasn’t Amazon got Hanzou from “World Heroes Perfect” available for preorder? I heard that HE should be released by Storm this DECEMBER 🧐
