No gas isolation switch
Great fridge and works on the 240v lovely , 12v part is very high drain as to be expected but the annoying part is it has no gas isolation to turn it off so have to rely on turning the bottle off , other than that great

Very good
Not quite sure how thickness or sheerness come in to a review about a fridge so adjust that please Amazon!Regardless, I was a little dubious about this fridge initially but when sparked up using a gas supply it exceeded my expectations. The unit is being used in an off grid situation where mains isnt an option but refrigeration is a must!Be aware that adequate ventilation is required with the gas operation, so as I have done get a good quality carbon monoxide detector as a sensible precaution. There will be a smell from the flue unless you have the unit placed in such a way that the emissions are all vented ie mounted in a sealed cabinet around the front and vented at the rear. Note that heat is produced from the flue, so be aware of that when placing. If you are unsure ask someone such as a gas fitter to help. Best to be safe than sorry. Im not an expert so make up your own mind and exercise a little common sense. As for performance, at first I had this set too high and froze and onion solid! Start with the dial set where the red and blue coloured sections meet and work from there. The book is still out on the gas usage, I have a small bottle attached and I expect this to last at least a couple of months.Build quality appears to be good, its quite robust and does not feel cheap and nasty, in fact it is better constructed than some standard household fridges Ive owned.Capacity isnt huge but how much space do you need? All in all Im very happy with this fridge. When fitting and using take all sensible precautions eg check all connections and especially ensure ventilation.Again, be safe, be sensible, ask for help!

Good 3way fridge for campervan - worked fine so far!I'
I've been using this 3way fridge in my campervan for the last six months and it has worked well. The van has also been rented out through Quirky Campers over the summer and has been fab for keeping food and drinks cool during travel and when parked up.As you'll see, the fridge is fitted under the main storage cupboard. It requires vents bottom and top and a flue to the outside to divert the heat from the back of the fridge and the instructions suggest wrapping the fridge in insultation wool too.In my van, the fridge is connected to run off the 12v battery when the van is in motion and there is then a choice of gas or 240v electricity when parked. If there is electric hook up, that is best; if not, then you would turn on the propane gas, ensure the inverter connection creates a spark and light the fridge through the gas route.I say all this because it wasn't obvious how the '3 ways' worked when I first had it fitted and it took a little trial and error! The 12v way is automatic when connected to the battery, but the 240v or gas need to selected when parked.I've also been puzzled by some van life forums saying it's inefficient, or would drain the leisure battery - but that seems to be because they haven't read the description properly...you would never run this off a leisure battery when parked up and the split relay when moving ensures it remains charged.Overall it has worked really well....occasionally on gas, it takes a few attempts to get lit - this is often because the van isn't level, so I'd suggest that as a starter; and to ensure that the inverter is plugged in to drive the spark for the gas lighting.Overall though, a very good buy so far: seems sturdy, easy to clean, keeps stuff cold and doesn't make any noise. If you want to check it out when renting out Apollo, let me know!

Absolute rubbish
This is piece of junk, 3rd one I've ordered 2 from Amazon, 1 from Monster but all turned out to be almost the same. Cheap parts, badly thrown together and the final one was downright unsafe. You have to almost rebuild it to change the door around, fortunately in doing so you have to take the top off which is where I noticed the gas pipes were all loose. No way was this tested for safety, tightened and got the gas running but they still won't cool very much. Should be take off sale as unsafe 100%!

Damaged on arrival
When I came to fit the fridge in my camper the bottom frame had been damaged in transit, was too late to return. I had inspected on arrival bit never thought to check the bottom.
