I need to connect 3 projectors in my church. Two of them are about 180' away and the other one about 50'. Will this work for this set up?

This unit supports certain audio video formats but not all. if the source signal is an unsupported format, what comes out of local hdmi output?

I'm not sure what you are asking here.

This device doesn't play back any audio or video on its own.  It has to be connected to a device that can play the file such as a computer.  It's similar to connecting a computer to a monitor or a projector.  That said, if your device cannot play the video or audio content, then you will need to look for the right codex and install it on your device, or locate a device that can play that format.

If the file resolution is too big, then it might either not play at all or will play in a smaller format. You can usually adjust this in the settings, but most devices are smart enough to adjust.  The audio will play like any other audio.

If your refering to HDCP, which is a content encryption system, and this doesn't support HDCP, then the content just won't show up on the screen.  This is usually for things like Blu-Ray, DVDs, or media devices.  Though some video files may also require HDCP as well.

With j-tech digital jtdhdex1x8 splitter can I use CAT6 Cables from my CAT6 Patch Panel to the Switch and CAT6 Cables from My CAT6 Jacks to Receivers?

You cannot use the 1x8 splitter with a network switch. Also, we do not recommend using our products with any patch panels as this can adjust the skew of the ethernet cables.
