When I received this battery and installed in my old Dell Venue and charge it up I was so happy to see it come back to life. However, sadly, within only 1 hour of use the battery was almost completely discharged. I was going to return it but decided to reach out to KingSener. I explained that the battery was not holding a charge. I received a response in less then 24 hours with instructions to try, they also offered for them to refund my money if I was not happy, but I figured I would try their suggestion. Discharge and recharge the battery 2-3 times.I found after the 2nd discharge and recharge cycle the battery was lasting much longer and after the 3rd cycle it was lasting for several hours of continuous use or several days of occasional use, just like when it was new.

As near as I can tell, this battery is of comparable quality and capacity to the original one from my Dell Venue 8 when it was new. The instructions provided were generic for replacing a laptop battery, but videos and instructions specific to replacing a Venue 8 battery which I found online were enormously helpful. The pry levers supplied with the battery were useful for removing the Venue 8's back cover. There was one spot near the speaker which required some effort and patience for the back cover to fully dislodge. The Torx screwdrivers supplied with the battery were not the correct size for the Venue 8's 14 internal screws. Fortunately I had another one that did the trick.If replacing a worn out battery, expect erratic readings on the Venue 8's battery indicator for the first few charge/discharge cycles. Mine jumped around a lot initially, but seem accurate now. King Sensor's instructions note this. They include some battery maintenance tips and contact info in case of difficulty.

I bought this battery for my tablet. I popped it in and charged it. Now my tablet is ready to go.
