Great purchase, but read the instructions on connecting hose.
Had previously been using a small shop-vac with my Flowbee, but this has much improved suction, and takes up much less space. In order to get the connector to fit, I did have to heat up the plastic, and twist it in a bit. Good seal though.

Flowbee
Must have for use with Flowbee. I initially purchased the Flowbee without the Flowbee mini vac, just used my vacuum cleaner and it took longer to cut hair due to low suction. With this mini vac it makes all the difference. I use the Flowbee and mini vac for a very short pixie cut and it does the job. Thanks Flowbee and please be around forever please. I may get another set (like the other reviewer). The cost may seem like a lot; but think how often you have your hair cut, the tip, time taken for appt, etc.

Not a good design
sent it back because of the bad design: Hair escaped from the holding area, and it was unstable plus very loud

More powerful than I thought
Was worried this wouldn’t be powerful enough. Works just as good as my wet dry vac but 5x smaller and easier to store. Pulls hair up nicely.

Works as advertised.
It works fine as advertised. But it is noisy. Since a Flowbee haircut is quick, I don't mind the noise. Certainly more quiet than the home vacuum I had been using. It's easy to set up and operate and clean. I am happy with the purchase.
