Liver Cleansing Handbook
This "pamphlet" encourages you to buy more of their handbooks throughout the reading. At one point, the author mentions kefir and how easy it is to make your own, but never gives a receipt on it. This is a cut and paste of several other books that I have read. But, if you like something that is very light reading and just want to add a couple "new" receipts to your vegan library, then certainly buy this like of handbooks:)

short but sweet
The "Liver Cleansing Handbook," was a very informative book on the correct care of the liver. But the book was very short and had more recipes in it then pages with information. Because it was informative I did give it 3 stars but if I want more info I will purchase something different in the future.

Great recipes for liver health
I bought this book when it first came out & gave it away and then bought another copy because I remembered how I enjoyed making the recipes especially the sunflower seed & vegetable pate (very savoury). Also, back in the 90's while working in a health food store, I looked forward to reading Rhody's editorial comments in the Alive Magazine, she was a voice of truth about our changing health food industry & the importance of educating oneself about preventative health. So, I will cherish this little book & practice good liver health thanks to Rhody.
