MG38-BK 38" Acoustic Guitar Starter Package, Black (Includes CrescentTM Digital E-Tuner)

When they learn on this one that looks cool and sounds alright then you can spend the $300 on a real great sounding guitar! My 15 year old daughter got this for Christmas and loves it. She's 5 ft 7 in tall and this fits her perfectly. It's a tiny bit smaller than my hubby's full sized guitar which is a bit big for her. I'm amazed that you get so much with it for this price! They shipped it super fast and packaged it great. It looks so cool she has it on display in her purple room. She is practicing on it daily and once she learns how to really play and matures a bit we will consider buying her a better guitar but this one is seriously great for a beginner. We got all three of our kiddos a guitar for Christmas and they were so excited! They can tune it themselves too which I love so my husband isn't trying to tune it over and over. We got all three of our kiddos one in different colors of coarse and their Dad has a nice guitar so you can hear the sound quality difference but what do you expect for this extremely low price? I am considering ordering one for myself so I can learn to play also and we can have some fun as a family strumming our guitars. lol. I read all of the reviews and was a bit leery but am so happy that I got this and the other 2. Extremely happy children makes for happy parents. Strings by the way are like $5-6 so no big deal to swap these cheaper ones out for real ones. :o) The only other thing is that there is no plastic protective part when you strum on the main guitar part not sure what that is called but again they are beginners and once they learn you can buy a better guitar with one of those if you plan on playing for years and years. We think it was a great purchase even a month later. Love it!

This guitar is not like my better Martin, but I bought it for taking to guitar classes. The pitch tuner didn't work well in the E6 position. It did not come with a full set of extra strings like described, so when I broke one of the thicker strings while tuning, I had to go out and buy a new A string. But when I asked the seller if they could send a new pitch tuner and the full set of extra strings, they sent a whole new package and provided a return shipment label to return the old. Great customer service. And a nice guitar for the money. I did buy a canvas bag to use instead of the one in this package - it's just too light and the zipper pulls broke right off. But a great buy for a beginner I think.The replacement was the same as the 1st. The 1st guitar replacement was in a little better shape. The replacement came with even fewer guitar strings (1), but the pitch tuner works better. So, kept the best of both shipments and sending the rest back.I think this is a great guitar to learn with. If you have a nicer guitar you don't want to take out into the elements, this is a perfect option to take out. I'd recommend buying a set of replacement strings so if you break one while tuning you aren't done playing for awhile. I also recommend buying a better carrying bag. I bought one for $16 on Amazon and it's a great canvas bag for this guitar.Customer service was exceptional. Thank you!

When my guitar didn't come as scheduled I thought this was a waste of time. But now that it finally arrived, I am satisfied with my purchase. This guitar was on sale for $34.99, with taxes and shipping it came to $40.00 and some change. I did not expect much for $40.00, but this is actually a good guitar. I am a 50 year old novice guitar player, so this guitar is perfect for me to learn how to play. This guitar is smaller than my 41 inch acoustic guitar, but I actually like this one better because it is easier for me to play. The e-tuner works great. The bag is a little flimsy but that is understandable for what I paid for the guitar.Below is my review of the 38 inch Crescent MG38 BU 38" Acoustic starter guitar.1. I give it one star because of the customer service; they tracked my package down and delivered it in one day as promised.2. The size is just right for me to learn to play. The strings have a bigger gap than my 41" guitar which is perfect for my fat fingers.3. When I first received the guitar the strings were very loose. But once I got the guitar in tuned, it stays in tuned.4. I love the blue color, and I don’t smell fresh paint as other reviewers quoted. The guitar does have a blemish or two but it was only $40.5. The guitar sounds very good.I rate this guitar with 5 stars. I will recommend a family member to Social Daily Deals, and I will purchase another guitar from them in the future.
