I love the way the tent pops up when I open it. I didn't have to put anything together.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Rico loves his new tent he shied away at first but I put some Millet inside and then he begin to investigate, now he goes in and out and climbs all over it. This product is very well made. I love the way the tent poped up when I opened it. I did not have to put anything together. I am very happy with my purchase and so is Rico.

Do not buy this for your bird
I have had this adorable little bird house for a couple of months now and the birds seemed to love it, I was very happy with my purchase - until today. Over time our love birds started picking at the lining of this little nest and today, one of them was tangled up in the string that is in the bottom area underneath the mat - all tangled up and his little claws are now swollen. I have no idea if he is going to lose his little claw - all because this manufacturer apparently did not realize that birds will eat through just about anything. This is not a safe bird nest for a pet bird, avoid it at all costs.

Great purchase
I ordered the large for my green cheeked conure and she absolutely loves it! She climbs on top of it and loves to lay inside too. I've had many compliments and people asking where to buy because it's not the normal fuzzy tent you can find everywhere else.

Strings stuck around bird's neck
My Senegal, a Meyer's Parrot, loved this thing at first. Within a month of purchasing it though, he tore into the fabric and ended up getting strings stuck around his neck. He was stuck half in and half out of the tent, almost hanging by the strings. It was quite the ordeal to get him out of that mess. I don't recommend this for birds who tear into things rather quickly. If you do buy it, make sure to check it daily for their safety. The picture is the corner where he pulled the strings and got stuck in them.

Smells so bad I can't use it.
To start, this little hammock is ADORABLE. And it's soft! And it has a zipper that allows you to pull the board out for washing (GENIUS!).But...(And this is a big BUT.)It's off-gassing a horrible, burned plastic smell. I thought at first maybe it was just the shipping bag, so I washed it (hello, zipper!).It still smelled. So, I rewashed it, only this time with vinegar. No use.I'm now soaking it in vinegar overnight to see if that helps, but I don't have much hope. It smells so bad that it gives me a headache. I can't imagine putting the bird in it. Birds have delicate respiratory systems. If they can't handle the chemical smell of candles or Glade Plug-Ins, then there's no way they can handle the smell of this thing in their cage. :-(

Smell is Horrendous
This is definitely cute and has soft material on the inside. I want to love it and want to use it for my parrotlet, but the smell of it is horrendous. I’m not sure if something is infused in the material or if it’s something added when it was made but the smell is so noxious. I cannot use this on my parrotlet at all. I hung it outside in the fresh winter air and checked today but it is still as strong. I may try to wash it and see if that will help, but beware of the smell before exposing to your little fees there’s babies.

Nice replacement hut
I like this hut, it's replacing another "fuzzy" version as that became dangerous (and comes with warnings). Though my Green Cheek does not like this hut (yet) I'm hoping he will. It's a great hut, but I did not like the zipper that dangles at the bottom. It's there to access and remove the sturdy bottom piece for cleaning (which is great), but I'm sure it won't be long before my guy notices it and goes on "seek and destroy" mission against it. I'll likely have to remove it if he starts messing with the zipper, as it may become dangerous. If the zipper was gone and the sides also had a sturdy piece--I'd say this hut was perfect. For now...It's just "ok" and will serve until I find another. I do love the fabric of this and it seems well made.

Design flaw make sure you watch for parrot damages and trim strings
My birds love these and so did I for over a year but you must be sure you are monitoring the damage they do to them . I marked down to 3 stars because My bird strangled his toe and was bleeding from trying to free himself. I recommend you sew down the liner by hand so the fabric seems are not a temptation . Having learned from this I still plan to replace my current ones witha new one and sew the liner down by hand to cover the serger seams that are oh so satisfying to chew apparently. Because these are so loved by my lorikeets for bed time and wrestling with my hand in their backs and chewing for play.. so I'm replacing and modifying. I learned not to forget to check his toys more regularly now. it's amazing how quickly they can get after something that was fine in the morning.Update .. my birds toe had to be cut off cost over 400 dollars thankfully there are avaian vets in my area.. I have this tent in two other bird cages with no problems..Don't get this if you have a fabric destroyer .

Our bird didn't like it
I like it but our bird didn't like it. He didn't use it at all. But our bunny liked it for some reason. It was really cute.

Dangereux
Dangereux !!!
