Picture Keeper Photo & Video USB Flash Drive for Mac and PC Computers, 8GB Thumb Drive

I take a lot of pictures and upload them to my computer and was concerned that if my computer was corrupted (even though I have virus protection on it) I might lose all of them. Picture Keeper has solved that problem. It is very easy to use and keeps all the pics safe and protected. It only downloads new pictures that weren't already on it and it has a menu so you can pick the perfect picture for your needs. The software is built into the stick so once you plug it in, it starts, and if it doesn't you click on the world in the bottom left corner of your desktop to bring up the menu, click on computer and the drive will show up with picture keeper on it. Double click it and you are ready to go. Easy and efficient. A definite keeper!

I purchased one of these and was so impressed, I am buying 6 more.I plan to download all of my familys pictures in the Picture Keeperso I can give each one of my siblings one, and put one in a safety deposit box at the bank.This is the most wonderful item I have ever purchased. I have pictures from my great-great-grandparents up to my very own great-great grands and my children safely stored inthe Picture Keeper.My siblings, children, grand children, and great grand children are overthe moon. They can't believe they have all of these photographs in this one lillte gadget.Very easy to navigate and works quickly!!! Love it! Love it!Thank all of you from the bottom of my heart!!!!

I love that you don't have to download any files - this unit works straightaway. It finds all files of the kinds you specify and saves copies of them to the Picture Keeper in the same organization as on your hard drive. That is very handy. Also, the Picture Keeper has an excellent Slide Show feature that displays full screen! One caveat so far: The Instruction manual is well written and understandable, but it's wording doesn't always match that of the screen layout/wording. But with a bit of experimentation you can quickly learn how to do the things you want. I'm buying 2 more!

I purchased this product hoping I could use it to:1. find my pictures,2. collect them on this flash drive,3. pull them off this flash drive and archive them on my large storage drive,4. clean the pictures from this flash drive,5. resume the collecting of pictures where I left off, and6. repeating this process until I had collected all the pictures from my computer.IT DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY. This product works well to find the pictures and archive them PERMANENTLY on THIS Flash Drive. I have so many pictures it would cost me a fortune to use this product (even the larger version) for all my pictures.I am going to try and return it,

Not knowing how much memory a photo uses I was worried that the 8G wouldn't be enough. I was happy to find that it held my 900+ photos with room to add more. Such peace of mind knowing that my photos are backed up. Great product - easy to use. Really, just plug it in and let it go. Yes, I do realize I could have backed up those files manually to a cheaper flash drive. But I'm willing to pay the few bucks extra to have the process made easier.

I bought Picture keeper to back up photos from my hard drive. This product is so easy to use and you just plug it in and it finds your pictures. I happen to save my pictures into folders on my hard drive and this is how they were saved on the Picture Keeper flash drive. I wish I got one that holds more pictures and will need to buy another one. I had almost 4000 pictures that were saved to Picture Keeper and still have a lot more to save and backup. It is so easy as well to find pictures on this product. I love this product and definitely recommend it.

I got a faulty one. Picture Keeper customer service took almost two weeks to answer the phone. The red light comes on when I plug it in and stays on. Finally, I spoke with someone today and she said it was faulty and to return it.

It was very easy to use, but I should have gotten a bigger one. And it saves the photos in the same file folders as you have them on your computer. One problem I encountered was that the computer I was backing up had pictures on it from several different people/cameras. This resulted in some pictures having the same "name" as another one and therefore picture keeper considered them duplicates and did not save them both.
