A great item for the price! This bicorn hat arrived in perfect condition and is definitely more substantial than I originally expected. It takes a little "training" to get the hat to conform to that classic admiral's look; but, it did so without much fuss because the edges along the top are bendable. The one-size-fits-all truly works because it certainly fit my XL head size. Worn front-to-back, it looks English. Worn side-to-side, it looks French. It would blend nicely with multiple costumes. In my case, it blended well with a WW2 British RNR uniform; but, I wouldn't try it for a serious re-enactment. However, for fun at a costume party, Halloween, or stage play, this is a fine item that should wear well over time.

My high school son got a lot of compliments on his Napoleon costume that was so much better this year with this perfect hat! It’s worth the extra dollars to have something he’ll be able to wear for as many years as he’d like. Easy to shape it exactly like you want to as far as height and side flair. Highly recommend it.

Definitely a good investment. Much better quality than those cheap polyester felt tricorns you can find at Halloween stores. It’s best destiny is to be worn Napoleon style, sideways. The crown of the hat is absolutely a circle, so it fits the same sideways as it does “frontways.” The brim is big - approximately 4.5 inches on the pinched sides, and 6.5 inches on the upright sides. The material is a heavy sort of faux suede finish, and stiff wire in the brim makes it endlessly customizable. It will NOT fit a very large head - if you normally wear an XL, anything much over 23”, this will be tight. The adjustable headband inside actually works pretty well, and can get it down to maybe a size 7 1/8, or medium. The trim is sort of absurdly costumey, and I will be removing and replacing it. Overall a good purchase.

What a great hat. It has a bendable wire around the brim so you can mold and shape the hat however you like. I went with a sideways look, like Napoleon, and the hat is meant to be worn front to back. By the end of my costume party, it had molded to the way I was wearing it and worked great. It's sized pretty large maybe about a size 8+ or so on the hat size chart, but it has a velcro size adjuster to fit smaller heads. Great hat. It will keep for a while too.

I was not sure what to expect, but ended up very pleased. For a replica, it's really well made and I'd buy from this brand again. I am a stage costumer, and HATE pieces that look like a "costume" when doing historical pieces. With a bit of distressing, this will be a great piece in our stock.
