Stunningly accurate tool
This is a stunningly accurate circle cutting tool. I was able to use the tool immediately. It took two tries of lining up the plastic circle grid over the images, but I quickly began to understand how the tool was designed to be used. It does not take any force or pressure to cut fairly thick cardstock. In my case I cut out 140lb cold press watercolor paper. I was able to cut 28 circles before I determined that I needed to change the blade. Extra blades are included in the starter kit. This is a fantastic presentation tool. It would be nice if I could purchase the same system for cutting larger diameter circles. Thank you for creating this effective tool for the relatively low price point.

Not enough stars to give!
This device is the ultimate in circle cutters. I've been trying to find one that cuts a consistently true circle no matter what the size or material. I've been cutting 5", 3", 2" and 1" circles from sheets of 6" round sandpaper to use on my random orbit sander/polisher. I cut approximately 100 pieces and it did so with ease once you get the hang of it which I had by the third circle and I only used the 5 blades that come with the cutter - I bought the 40 piece refill thinking I would need at least that many considering the sandpaper. The 40 cost less than $5 they'll probably last me forever.Did I try other cutters? Yes and I'll say for the record that I'm a Fiskers anything guy so I was bummed when they couldn't live up to the task. I also tried OLFA and X-Acto off the top of my head. None even came close.Could this product benefit from a few tweaks? Well, the built in ruler is in CM so I had to have Alexa convert for me - good thing I put a Dot in the garage. Also, the arrow that points to the chosen length and the numbers on the ruler are almost invisible and could use some color.Otherwise, this product is nothing short of amazing. At least for my projects.

Cuts circles easily but scale not easy to read
This circle cutter cuts accurate circles in card stock and construction paper. When you first get the device, there is a protective plastic nib that covers the top of the blade. You need to pull that off or partly off so there is enough length to get the blade to stick out for cutting and then lock it in place with the screw. They must set it short for safety reasons. I set the blade so the tip just stuck out.The centimeter scale is hard to read without strong light and magnification. I use a magnifying headlamp to set the correct cutting diameter. An inch scale would have been more helpful so I don't have to multiply by 2.54 cm/inch.The first time I used it, I cut a 3.5-inch circle in one rotation using one hand. I did this on a soft cutting board.I took off one star because of the difficulty reading the cm scale and the lack of an inch scale.Very well made and engineered. When cutting circles, I always use painters tape at the corners to help ensure that the paper does not move.

Cutter won't cut fabric
I purchased this Lion Ev-R-Round Perfect Circle Cutter to cut fabric as the ad and the cardboard backing on the cutter read.It would not cut batting, so I tried a flat fabric, and the blade is too small to make a cut even in the cotton fabric. There may be a fabric thin enough to cut, but I question whether it could cut consistently all the way around. The ad and package reads it can cut 3/4" to 6 3/4". Based on the size of the cutter, and where cuts should be positioned, I cannot imagine how it could cut 3/4" of an inch. The hard plastic base which measures 2+ inches across and allows the arm with the blade to rotate is already larger than the 3/4" listed. If you could remove the base (no instructions for this), you lose the swivel. The instructions are with the cutter, but the cutter fails to perform, even on cotton fabric. The blade has a rubber top. There are no instructions to remove it. If you remove it, the way the cutter works would make this a dangerous tool as you could get a serious cut from the naked blade. The instructions do not show removing the rubber cap.Lastly, even if the cutter worked properly on fabric, you would need to choose carefully what flat surface you wanted to push the center needle point into and to use to razor to cut the circle on. The surface must be porous to accept the needle sharp center point which you press on, and I figured out quickly, the blade if it worked and was long enough would also cut into my expensive mat.

Cut (practically) any size circle perfectly!
I purchased this when i ran into a problem making magnets. I was using glass cabochons (1”) and bought a 1” circle punch so I could easily cut out patterns and pictures for the magnets. It turned out that I needed slightly smaller that 1” circles, and I wasn’t finding a punch the correct size. Cutting by hand wasn’t an option because of accuracy/volume of my project. This was a perfect option! I use it on a cutting mat and the guide included is very helpful. For me, I lay a cabochon on the center of the guide to help me in centering it on my patterned papers I’m cutting out. Not only do I use it for my magnets, but I have also used this product for cutting out various circle price/logo tags in markets I participate in. The only “problems” I’ve run into are that I always make a test circle after adjusting the size because I feel it helps me more than the measuring guide. When I first received the product I also made the mistake of inserting the wrong end of the blade because both ends look similar. Once I fixed the problem, the blade worked perfectly.I wish there was a way to quickly retract the blade since sometimes I forget there is a sharp blade on the bottom when I set it down on my table. Plus, a feature like this would be good for child safety.

It’s just okay
Depending on what you’re using this for, it’s an okay product. The blades are not well made and break after every use when using on a mat board. Frustrating.
