Finicky, but good, can opener
Excellent opener, easy to remove lids, size make it easy to store, the blade is sharp, and lids are sharp, not smooth. It is finicky to mount, but once place, it travels around the can cutting the lid open. It can hold a charge which makes it great for camping or for the occasional power outage.

Perfect for arthritis
Love this!! I have arthritis, and it opens the cans so easily. Best of all, the blade attachment releases so easily, I can wash it or put it in the dishwasher. No cord! No heavy motor! I open tuna cans by stacking two of them. My little gadget works perfectly. More people should know about this. 100 stars, not just 5.

Overall good purchase.
Have used it about half a dozen times thus far. Has been working well. I like that its size is small enough for easy storage. It cuts the can top from the inside of the can top so some caution required not to cut yourself.

Nifty gadget good for arthritic hands
Very cool device. works well . You dont even need to hold the can once the opener is attached to it.We chose this can opener because we didnt want the under the cabinet one that takes up valuable space or the counter top kind for the same reason. This opener will not fit in our standard silverware drawer. This was a bit of a disappointment, but we found a spot for it. It doesnt take up too much roomBe careful to keep track of the charging cord for recharging the opener. This is perfect for people with arthritis who cannot use the hand held openers

Easy and helps my carpal tunnel
As we get older, life tends to mess with our bodies. Such is the case for me. Arthritis and capal tunnel wrists ache. Even my manual opener gives me issues.I didn't want a large electric opener taking space in my small kitchen. This little miracle has helped A LOT!It pretty much does all the work. A little tricky to figure out at first, but once I did...can opening is easy. It's rechargeable, easy to clean and stops automatically then the job is done. Small enough that it sits nicely in a drawer til needed. This little thing would be an EXCELLENT gift for aging parents and limitedly abled people. Not sure about younger kids though due to the sharp blade. So glad I made the purchase...price great too. Just wish this company would come up with a jar opener that's as easy to use!Great purchase!

Works better than most upright, fixed can openers
I have two of these at my other house, but I needed one here to open cans. I already knew that these can openers were very good and worked the best. It is especially significant to realize the difference in this type of can opener from the regular ones. Several years ago, I had large cans that needed to be opened. However, regular can openers can only handle sizes up to a point. This one can go around whatever size can you want. It can go around the world if it had enough battery charge.I pulled this thing out of the box and immediately plugged it in to charge in order to be able to test it for this review. I went outside to water my corn in the garden and came back in and decided to try it out. I tried looking around for some old cans that I could try it out on, and I was not finding any. My wife found a fresh can of beans that she wanted, and I tried it out. The dang thing just went around and cut it open, just like I have seen it do for over 10 years now. So, they have it charged before delivering. Great. Didn't know that.As a minor note, most can openers have a problem with how to connect the can to it and start the motor. This one is no exception. You have to kind of look up in there where the blade is and connect the can just right. It takes a little practice, but it is doable.I am a fan of this little can opener. It is about my 4th one. The other ones are still working well after 10 years. I tried the other cheap ones, but it was pitiful. I was making spaghetti meat sauce and needed to open about 6 or 7 cans of tomato sauce. The cheap can opener that I had bought was really difficult. It would work for a second or two and then disconnect. I had to start it over. But, I had to keep doing this over and over. That's when I decided to buy this can opener that I have seen working before.

Broke.
It was great until it wasn't. Went to use it the other day and it was dead. I tried charging it. Nothing. Lasted less than a year.

Not what I expected.
I selected this for the brand name and thought it would be better than the rest. Unfortunately, it is the same poor design and clunky operation. It does not work on small cans and only marginally better on large cans. The design with the movable arm (blade) is poor and comes apart frequently. The blade and blade spring are not good quality, and a better grade of carbon steel should be used. To lower my frustration level, I went back to a manual opener.
