What can I say it's flowmaster. Sounds great on my 3.0 v6 turbo.

Low key rumble & quiet cruising
My "notice me" loud muffler days passed long ago. I put this on my 1966 Ford Station Wagon with a 289 engine and single exhaust. The muffler has a pleasant, low key rumble at an idle, walking behind the car there is no mistaking that there is a V-8 under the hood -- eighteen feet away...Accelerating away from a stop in town makes just enough noise to catch a real "car guys" ear and make him look but not catch the attention of the general population or the local law enforcement officer.Remember air conditioning was an expensive option when this car was built, the cars of this era were designed to be quiet at road speed with the windows down and keeping the interior quiet and free of resonance was a big factor in choosing this muffler. It delivers as advertised.Crossing a concrete bridge or underpass with the windows down will encourage me to step in to it a bit just for fun but then back to cruising and blissful quiet. To summarize, this muffler is no louder than the factory systems on some of the modern pick up trucks. If you want to be noticed this is not the part for you. However if you want a quiet cruising coupled with a low key rumble around town this is an excellent choice. One more plus -- like all Flowmaster mufflers, top quality (this thing is heavy) made in USA. Happy cruising!

Mean tone, no interior resonance
I was looking into making my Northstar-powered Cadillac audible (they did a good job at muffling the sound--the only way you know you're going fast is you see the tire marks in the rear-view mirror and objects getting smaller). That said, I didn't want to be the "hey look-at-me" guy down the street that announces his arrival and departure obnoxiously. So I wanted a classy sounding sporty exhaust note, and that's exactly what these Delta 50s provide. They have a delta chamber that cancels out a lot of resonance. They were significantly louder in my Eldorado Touring Coupe than they are in my Deville DHS, probably due to more sound-proofing in this sedan. Yup, I've bought two sets of two and I recommend them. For those wanting more sound go to the Delta 40s and even more? Delta 44s.Oh by the way I had to remove the resonator too.I may opt to go with Delta 40s if I could do it again on the Deville.

Great price / great sound.
Bought this for my 2007 Ford fusion 2.3L, and it did not disappoint. I think it adds a little throat without being too farty and obnoxious. A little though to fit into the stock position but after some modification to the stock exhaust system it fit pretty well. I would suggest you have a knowledge of fabrication work before purchasing, but other than welding and pipe bending there wasn't much to it. Also, remember this doesn't come with a tip.

Ohh.. That beuatiful noise when I start the truck...
The 40s series seems to have too much twang+ pop, almost a ricey sound that is exceedingly loud on smaller engines... This is all about that bass and hearty hum, it wont turn heads, but it isn't going to make people question if you are overcompensating for somethin. Believe it or not, you do need some back-pressure on your exhaust, so keep your stock pipes or atleast the same diameter and lengths. Noticeable HP increase! Inside diameter is a hair over 2" and the bushings are THICK- beware all ye non welders.1995 toy pickup 22RE 4x4 my only regret is not getting the model with more offset :/

Good muffler, definitely an improvement from stock on my '98 Lincoln Towncar. If I had the opportunity I would want to get something a bit louder because it is pretty quiet at idle but it's a good noise. Maybe next time I'll try the Super 40s.

Perfect sound for a Subaru
I bought this for my 2.5L subaru forester. I bought this to get a nice rumble paired with unequal length headers. This works perfectly, with a nice subtle rumble just loud enough. I’d recommend this for any subaru.

Made no difference
Please do not waste your money if you have a smaller engine car. It makes no difference in sound even though it states "moderate sound". Might work for larger vehicles but small engines (lower than 2.5) do not waste your money.
