I like this stuff. Strange, salty, smelly, DELICIOUS. Expand you Pacific Islander quisine. Note: It does take getting used to at first. But if you like nuoc mam (fish sauce) then this will spark your culinary curiosity.

Bast salted shrimp fry product. So good with a dish sauteed in onion and tomatoes and dishes with coconut milk. Very Asian flavor.

I love this salted shrimp. This is my second time to order from amazon. The first one is bagoong shrimp which is awesome! I’m proudly to say I am a Filipina and I love pinoy foods.

The product leaked while shipping, but they seemed to already know that was going to happen and wrapped it several times. The liquid was only 3/4 the way full when I received it, and obviously the wrapping (and subsequently my hands and kitchen trash) smelled fishy. Also, since the jar loosened/leaked in shipping, I am wary of using the product. Please make your product more equipped to handle shipping! Thanks!
