We had a do not disturb sign on our do. Housekeeping tried to open the door and the alarm went off. Did what it was supposed to do.

Useless in all my outdoor facing doors. The device is too low to the ground and all doors clear right over them so no alarm!!! I need to figure out a make-shift adapter In order to elevate them to make them work. This may be the case as well for hotel doors, my other intended application.

With this inexpensive alarm, however, they can't enter without sounding a high decibel alarm of 124db -- 125db is the pain threshold of noise. It's enough to wake the dead. So, the intruder immediately realizes that the resident knows that the door has been breached. I for one will be wide awake and heavily armed before the interloper gets to my bedroom. The very best alarm is a vigilant dog, but this alarm requires no maintenance.

I already had this and bought more to give in adult children/grandchildren Christmas stockings. They all loved them.

I kept two of these for my front door and bedroom...gave one to my daughter to use in her apt. I wil be ordering more for the rest of my family. Helps to have this extra alarm to help alert people.. I do have two dogs and they can hear people outside too.

These door stops have given my Daughter peace of mind, knowing that the door stop is under the door and gives a loud ringing noise of moved has helped her settle.We can't use it on the back door as they open outwards. Would recommend this product to a friend

Very pleased with this item. Normal door wedges tend to be too low and the door can be pushed over them, these are thicker and prevent the door from opening. If you set the alarm it works very well but the pitch is ear piercing and the same pitch regardless of high or low settings.Overall very happy with my item and I do deterant against intruders.

This is a great product, I always know when someone tries to open my doors, not only does it sound an alarm but prevents the door from opening wider, this is a must for everyone's security
