Under normal operations, at less than full power, the power supply for this unit burnt out within a few weeks. I contacted the manufacturer, and they sent TWO replacement power supplies. That should tell you how they view their own quality. In spite of the redundancy, both replacements failed IN MINUTES. These things are extremely low quality - CAVEAT EMPTOR.

When I first got this ultrasonic homogenizer, the power supply did not work. I wrote a review on Amazon that was not really negative since I could not test a unit that didn't operate at all but I did express my displeasure with a non-working unit. Now this is where you know whether you are getting supplied by a good company or not. It's not so much about the problem but how it gets dealt with. I wrote my review on Thursday afternoon April 14th, Friday was good Friday followed by the Easter celebration. This company did send a replacement power supply out to me on Thursday or Friday and it arrived here on Monday morning by 10:00am. It operated for a few days of work. It failed on the evening of the 25th. I don't think this power supply has the amperage to operate this sonicator/emulsifier. The transducer unit seems fine. It's the power supply that is inadequate. The supplier has also realized this and reports that based on our communications, they will now be supplying this sonicator with a much higher quality power supply. Unless you are a user, this would have been difficult to know so I don't really blame them. Most people that sell things on Amazon do not have the experience of the end user or the end user application. My application was a bit unique. I must compliment this company for working and communicating with me very well. This is the 3rd power supply they have quickly supplied without argument or any cost on my part so you know they are trying to provide good customer service. I'm not used to this kind of good customer service so I really appreciate it!

Power supply doesn't work. Tried to get a replacement, but Amazon would only let me get a refund. Needed this to work and it was a major set back. :(

The size was too small for me but if you reach out to the seller they are super helpful getting you pointed in the right direction!

I don't see anything else like this on Amazon, it's an excellent product that does everything I hoped it would. Seller has fantastic communication and top customer service! This device is perfect for rapidly accelerating solvent extractions and may even be useful for sonoporation. Probe sonication is much more efficient than ultrasonic bath. I love the easily adjustable voltage. The probe itself was somewhat easy to swap out using two wrenches (I needed the smaller probe for test tube use but originally had the larger probe so I changed it out). Some of the older reviews mention power supply problems, they have upgraded the power supply to a much nicer model vs the original, it even has an LED digital display and dial for variable voltage (see pic).
