Minnetonka Men's Casey Slipper

I read as much reviews before actually purchasing and honestly suggest that anyone who’s interested in ordering a pair of these or anything of that matter should do their own research too; stay on the safe side. Learned prior to my order that they ran a bit large according to some people. so after a lot of consideration I decided to take heed and trust that the reviews were 100% genuine and not just one or two persons misfortune. so I ordered a half size down. I wear sz8.5 and went with the sz8 instead and wasn’t disappointed a bit. Fits perfectly and super comfy and SOFT bro. Slept in these the first night just cause I couldn’t get enough of how amazing these slippers were. 😅 I’d recommend everyone to get a pair. Looks way better in person too , I promise. Exceeded my expectations!

Ordered them as the reviews weren't bad, however I waisted my money on these slippers/moccasins, they are just a couple months old, I only wear them briefly in the late evening and already they are starting to fall apart, the leather lace broke, the stitching is coming undone so now the top of the slipper is getting loose and will probably fall apart too, they never really fit like they should - the toe area is a bit snug, but I figured after a bit they'd stretch out some and for the amount I wear them wasn't a huge issue, well they did loosen up a bit being that the stiching is giving way, I actually had a cheaper pair (don't recall the brand) that were of better quality, more comfortable and lasted then these.

I usually love my Minnetonka slippers, this is my 4th pair. For some reason though this set of slippers has been junk, the leather broke when I was trying the laces on both slippers and now the stitching has started coming apart on the sides. I've only had them for about 30 days and I have to do home repairs because the return window is past. Pretty disappointed in this pair.

OK. I have very fat feet. I guess it comes from being barefoot most of my life. So, it is difficult to find shoes that fit. But, leather moccasins are great because the leather will stretch to match your feet. Unfortunately, the hard rubber sole will not.These moccasins are made in narrow, standard, and wide widths. That should be great so I ordered the size 10 Wide and the tops would eventually conform to my foot. However, it appears they use the same rubber sole on all three widths. The sole is a full inch narrower than my previous slippers.I traced and cut out a paper image of the sole and laid that on my previous pair for comparison. The places my fat foot wore through the old sole does not even have a sole on the new ones. I confirm this by putting them on. I can feel where my foot overhangs the sole. That is not going to work!Why do they make a wide with moccasins if they do not have a wide sole??

My husband really likes his new moccasins and wears them daily when indoors. He purchased the same size as his shoes. He does have a very narrow foot. The sole makes them very stable to walk in on smooth floors. His only complaint is the leather ties are so thick they do not stay tied very well when crossing his feet or legs while sitting. He solved this problem by cutting the ties down , sliding a 5/16" bead over the end and tying a knot so they cannot slide off. Then he tied a square knot in the shortened laces which leaves about 1 inch of tie and bead hanging. They have not come loose since.

I normally wear a size 9, so that is what I ordered. My first impressions were that these look great but when I first tried them on I found them tight in the front, and a bit loose in the heel. But after a few days they seemed to have better conformed to my feet. My only other, initial, concern was that the rubber sole felt a bit too narrow, it was like I was walking "on top" of them and not "in" them, so I felt a little unbalanced at first. I do think they should make the sole a bit wider, they are narrower than the shoe, but after wearing them around the house either they broke in or I just got used to them. They slip on and off easily, without feeling like they are falling off. They are warm enough for the cooler weather, but not too hot. They are very light and comfy, sometimes I forget I'm wearing them and more than once have left the house, forgetting I was wearing "slippers" but these really are nice looking enough to use "out" as a casual shoe and really look great with jeans. Heck I may order a soft sole version for house slippers and wear these out more often!

second pair in 16 months - understand I am retired and wear slippers a lot - even go to the store for a quick shop in them. The soles didn't wear out - My old pair still fit fine after hundreds of miles - I replaced them because I had spilled enough dinner as I cook on them they looked like - well - not a pretty picture.

My husband has narrow feet - which I have found are very difficult to find shoes/slippers to fit. We have been looking for several months now and I just happened to come across this slipper and ordered it - partly because I saw it was easy to return. Returning has been our past action on every slipper we have tried - and some were not so easy to return. Well, I thought I would take a chance - and they are perfect. He put them on, said they fit and has used them ever since. I know it is a good one because he through away his old slippers!

Above average slippers for price, sturdy & warm.

Faultless for the money

They're comfortable, the sole is great but are NOT worth 55$ CDN or 35$ CDN(on sale) The leather laces ripped off and I haven't had them for 20 days. I've had my UGGS slippers for years before I had to change them(for these ones). 2 stars just because I love the color and look of these slippers.

Christmas gift, but I know they will fit him and he will be really satisfied with my choice of moccasin and the color!
