Intervalo Delivers
I was initially going to give this 4 stars instead of 5 because there are minor flaws with this program (I’ll list them at the end). However, I ultimately decided to give this 5 stars because the workout routines really are excellent. This program contains 5 workouts that are basically done in circuits. All 5 workouts contain the same format: 3 blocks (circuits) with 4 sets of exercises performed in 30 second intervals. There are 3 rounds in each block. At the end of the 3rd round, there is a 60 second bonus move. I really like this format and found it to be enjoyable & efficient. All workouts are under 40 minutes. I’ll break down the workouts in details.Total Body & ConditioningBlock 1 (lower body): lunge squat combo, crab walks, genie sits & jump squats. Bonus move: quadruplex.Block 2 (upper body): push-up rotations, shoulder raises, single arm triceps push-ups, & Spider-Man push-ups. Bonus move: tricep kickbacks.Block 3 (core): inchworms, reach throughs (sit-ups with reaches in between your feet), reach ups (sit-ups & reach arms above), & standing side crunches (with weights). Bonus move: hold v-sit position.CardioBlock 1: ski jumps, butt kicks, crab kicks, & cross jacks. Bonus move: quick feet / burpee combo.Block 2: plank jacks, speed shuffles, standing mountain climbers, & squats w/ alternating front kicks. Bonus move: shuffles with squat jumps.Block 3: lunge hops, ginga (capoeira move), squat jacks, & skater lunge. Bonus move: in and out plank jumps.Strength & CardioBlock 1: glute activation lunges on the left leg, repeat on the right leg, high knees w/ in & out hops, & single leg hops. Bonus move: single arm & leg deadlifts.Block 2: star jumps w/ reverse lunges, side planks w/ leg extensions on the left side, repeat on the right side, & high knees into push-ups. Bonus move: front squats w/ overhead press.Block 3: push-ups w/ single leg, jab-cross knee combo on the left side, repeat on the right side, & vertical jumps w/ side shuffles. Bonus move: hold & pulse side lunges.Total Body ToningBlock 1 (upper body): walking push-ups, tricep dips, chest flyes, & shoulder presses. Bonus move: up & down planks (hell raisers).Block 2 (lower body): lunge pulse on the right side, repeat on the left, squat position with punches, & calf raises. Bonus move: hip raises.Block 3 (core): standing oblique lifts on the left side, repeat on the right side, Russian twists, & snow angels. Bonus move: mountain climbers.Cardio Circuit (no dumbbells required)Block 1: lunge squat combos, jumping jacks, mountain climber / squat combo (5 mountain climbers & then jump to squat position), & front push kicks. Bonus move: Supermans.Block 2: hell raiser tucks, leg spreaders, plank hops, & Jab-cross crunches. Bonus move: side shuffles.Block 3: football shuffle drops (shuffles w/ burpee), plank shoulder taps, scissor kicks, & bridge twists. Bonus move: V-sit toe touches.I really enjoyed all 5 workouts & I definitely see myself using this program often. I am addicted to home workouts and I have a very extensive library of workout DVDs (I prefer DVDs over streaming & downloads), including quite a few from Xtrainfit. Intervalo really delivers & it’s one of the best programs from Xtrainfit. I recognized Zoe as one of the exercisers from the Circuit Burnout 90 program; Zoe is very mellow & has good cues. Now onto the flaws I mentioned. Again, these are just minor flaws. The training calendar was a bit confusing because the titles of the workouts on there doesn’t exactly match the actual titles on the DVDs. For example, day 1 says “total Body & cardio”, I wasn’t sure if they meant total body PLUS the cardio workout or if they were referring to the Total Body & Conditioning dvd (I ultimately decided that’s what they meant). Also, there are some typos on the screen when they’re displaying the workouts; example: they spelled Jenga instead of Ginga for the capoeira move, they spelled verticle instead of vertical in the Strength & Cardio workout, and in the Total Body Toning workout they spelled “rigt” instead of right. These are small annoyances for me only because I’m super uptight & incorrect grammar / spelling happens to be a pet peeve of mine.I really like Zoe as a trainer, but she also seemed nervous at times because I noticed she would sometimes stutter & say “um”. However, it is not too noticeable and her cues were still on point. I hope to see more workouts from Zoe because I like her calmness & style of workouts.Lower impact & higher impact options are provided, so this workout is suitable for all. I followed the intermediate & advanced options and the intensity level was just perfect for me.Bottom line: I highly recommend this program. I love that Xtrainfit continues to expand & provide affordable at home workouts. It is true that their production quality is not the best, but their workouts are definitely high quality.

Impressed!
I was pleasantly surprised by this workout! Consider myself an intermediate exerciser. I had just finished up a round of P90x followed by a round of body beast and was looking for a nice, easy recovery workout. Picked this one up on lightening deal. These workouts are pretty solid and not as easy as I was expecting! Work up a nice sweat during all of them and I'm done in 30-40 minutes. As the previous reviewer noted, what's written on the DVDs versus what's written on the workout calendar does not always match, and there was a small audio issue on one of my DVDs, but overall, I'm very happy with this purchase!

Great Workout, Great Results!
I'm in a fairly good shape and incorporate a lot of cardio into my weekly exercise regiment. My wife bought this video to have us incorporate some good body weight exercise into our workouts. Well it was great! High intensity but yet simple with instruction and lots of opportunity for modifications. Production quality of the videos was excellent as well particularly for the price. Much more affordable than the BB product. Very impressed!

Cant go wrong
I like these workouts. I think they're easy to follow and they can be taken up or down in intensity. She had 3 levels shown so anyone can do this. Some people complain about the intructor's lack of enthusiasm or personality. I dunno. Too much enthusiasm is super annoying to me so she appealed to me just fine. I like that there is 5 workouts. You can mix and match or just do one. The workout plan is my one complaint, the titles dont match the plan. I'm not using it so i dont care. My gym is closed which is the only reason i purchased workouts. The music also isnt good but you can play the workouts with or without the music. Once i did each disc once or twice I opted for the without music option and i now pull up a Soul Cycle remix on my phone from YouTube. That really fixes that problem. I like this workout!

Every muscle was challenged in these workouts!
When I tell you I felt this workout everywhere, I mean it! What a great workout that not only challenges all my muscles, it made me sweat. I haven’t tried the recipes in the book yet, but only because I eat fairly well already, but they look legit. All the workouts and guides in the set are in English and Spanish – that is a cool feature. If you want an effective workout that you don’t need a ton of equipment for or a lot of space, then you should get this set.

Quite a disappointment
For starters these workouts are average at BEST and certainly not quality. The instructor is too low key to inspire and seems to have tried to copy some style from other training videos she worked as a modifier on but with little success. Her instruction is lacking and her count vs. the clock is so off that it impacts the workout. She never counts down (or at least accurately) so, you are left still doing the exercise while they have stopped b/c there are no cues from her that it is over. Very frustrating. There were annoying cue errors that definitely could have been fixed in editing as well. The quality of the dvd's is ok mostly but there are a few with sound issues. Many of the exercises are far from fun or challenging and I just found this to be a big miss in general.

Not bad
I waited to try this workout a try I did a few other things to get myself ready only down fall is when it came in one of the dvd were out of its spot and trying to figure out if you needed to do 2 workout or just one so I did just one I like the fact that she has someone in there that isn’t fit and the other person who is like pretty much in good shape doing this you will understand once who do the first dvd but my point is you feel it within the first few min of doing this and it’s not over the time fast
