Bought this Bible for one of our grandsons who has recently started attending church with us. I'd purchased a different Bible for our 2nd grandson, some years ago, that also was "comic book" like. That Bible was a big disappointment because it was only select stories, done in comic book form. THIS BIBLE is a FULL BIBLE with certain stories depicted in comic book form. Our grandson was surprisingly excited to get it and spent a good portion of the evening showing it off to friends and family members, something that is even more encouraging because he's 15!!! Couldn't be happier with the purchase!!!

These are great for all ages. Due to life struggles we missed a lot of Sunday school for our kids. Now teenagers I started to realize the lessons they missed were more valuable than I could teach them. I researched everywhere. I begged God to help guide me as there were just too many choices. When I finally decided to get these I had no idea what I had gotten. I ended up buying 4 of my children (teens and a young adult) each, one of these, two Action Bible's to share and read together, and 4 Action Bible Devotionals to do on their own. Every Sunday during the pandemic we sit as a family and they each take turns sharing what lesson their Devotionals had them do and what they learned. Thank you GOD for guiding me. This STUDY book is the written Bible with added blurbs of things to think about, and explanations of topics a little difficult to understand. It does not talk down to you like you are 2, it simplifies and explains. I especially love the "What about this?" and "Activate" blurbs. "What about this?" Asks questions your child might ask themselves after reading a section. "Activate" encourages you to put his word into action. Guides you how to implement the lesson today. "Remember It" Reminds you of important points in the section. "Guess It" Challenges yo to remember when certain actions happened. "Ancient Archives" gives you actual historic information about some of the things in verses. Printed on typical thin bible paper (sorry I don't know what the paper is called, lol) Easy to read size print and beautiful hard cover with vibrant colors. Excellent as a gift. I would say these books are helpful for 8 years old to young adults- However, I enjoy reading them and I am not a young adult.. lol. They have actually taught me things I didn't know.

I bought it for my little nephew and he loves it!I’m thinking of getting it for myself as well, since it’s a well made Bible with awesome graphics!!

This is the complete Bible. There are a few pics from the full animated Action Bible. And a few bullet points to provoke thought, especially for older kids. I am a middle aged adult who was looking for a Bible to keep me engaged after reading through so many through the years. Amazing illustrations. I would recommend buying the fully animated version too for the entertainment factor

This is a great Bible for a preteen, especially a boy!
