Trademark Innovations High Step Work Out Training Device

I bought this small stepper because I had a Jessica Smith work out DVD where she used this same style of stepper. The step is very sturdy. It does not lock into place but under each part there are "knobs" that fit into indentations on the other sections. so, there has been no slippage during exercise. The only thing I am disappointed about is that all the other step aerobic DVDs I have purchased out there use wide steppers.so, basically, other than the Jessica Smith DVD I have not found other DVDs that use this small step. so, I will either have to modify my workout during my other exercise videos or buy a longer step to use. other than that, this is a great product.

If they would spend the money to make the ribbed center part rubber instead of plastic, I would've given this product 5 stars. The plastic center is slippery even in running shoes. For example, when doing split squats with one foot behind you up on the step, that foot slips all over and could be potentially very dangerous. This could've been avoided by adding rubber instead of plastic. Pretty pricy for a plastic box. Other than that, I like the height and size.

We purchased THREE (3) units for a youth group - they work great. The base is 16" x 16". In addition, the "flat surface area" of the BLACK ribbed material is "12" x 9" The main blue/black step is 4" high. Each removable/stackable black section can only be used to adjust the height and each section will increase/decrease the height by 2" Note: Every section has 4 non-skid rubber feet to ensure a secure base on most any flooring.

I have used high steps for years for short box aerobic work and tall step ups. In fact, my original tall step was hand made by another home workout enthusiast and it last for years. When it finally started to get a bit too worn for optimum use, I started looking for a retail version and was shocked by the prices. It took me months and I stumbled across the Blue Ridge version. It is perfect. Very sturdy. Great, unique color and my Step risers fit it perfectly, even though it came with four of its own. I paid under $40 for this and I doubt that price will hold as other companies generally start at more than double that price. You can't beat this deal...trust me. I was on a mission for months to find an affordable version. Thanks for the great product at a great price!

I love this adjustable step! I needed a step that could be both high and low for some favorite workouts (The Firm), and this works perfectly. I had been thinking I would just make a box with differing heights, depending on how you position it, but figured out it would cost about 80% as much as ordering this, and would be VERY heavy and bulky, not easy to move and store like this is. The steps are very stable, strong, lightweight and perfect for what I need them for. I'm not a skinny little thing either, so they are definitely sturdy! :)

This is great for people with good proprioception since the surface is small.If someone is wobbly or needs a wide stance they should buy a larger (wider)stepper. I like it because it offers a good variety of heights and because it issmall I can stick it in a corner when I am not using it and it doesn't take upmuch space. That is the main reason I bought it. The quality is good and itdoesn't slide around. It has 4 small round rubber "things" on the bottom of eachstep level. If someone is very heavy it may slide on wood or tile floors. I havemine on a non slip plastic foam gym tiled floor.

Great for the exercises I need to do after months of PT. Like the variable stackable height. Only issue is that stability best if foot is placed closer to inner area. Less stability if foot on the edge of platform but STILL OK.

Absolutely love the fact that this guy is half the size of a regular step but still does the job just as well. Pretty sturdy, too, and even works well for my tiny newbie box jump efforts!

I will precede my review by warning people to watch out for the shipping. I didn't pay attention and paid a whopping 39.00 to have a 79 dollar item delivered. That's where they lost the star....Well I did some backchecking and it looks like I hit the 2 day shipping in error, so it was my bad, returning their star.As for the stepper, I like it a great deal so far. I selected this one because it looked like the tallest, and it is. 12 inches when all 5 parts (each is a little less than 2 1/2 inches so you have 5 height settings) are stacked and since I am rehabbing a knee, it should rebuild my strength ideally . An all plastic product with black plastic treads, it is very stable and just has a slight give when I step up on it. I am currently 215 pounds, I am not sure I would use it if I was 250 pounds. My wife is 110 pounds and has zero trouble with any level. Delivered on time and in excellent condition.

This step was the best solution for me to get into and out of our new bed that is very tall. The fact that I was not sure how high I wanted the step was not an issue as this step comes multiple pieces to adjust the height. It is sturdy and does not slip on my hardwood floors. I find it very heavy so it is not portable in my opinion and not attractive to look at but it does the job. There was quite a strong plastic smell for the first week or so but that dissipated.

I do not like it as it has some sharp edges at the bottom (cutting the extra parts from molding was not perfect). it actually caused injury to my daughter when she was playing with it in her legs. It is not recommended for person weight above 250 lb, it gives feeling it will collapse any moment.

Great value! I have been wanting to buy a high step for a long time, but I didn't want to pay the high price, I'm glad I found this one, quality seems pretty good, I'm very satisfied. I wished they sold the platform separately though, as I already had a full size step and extra risers. Still glad I got it.

The top of this step is so slippery you can barely use it for step ups or split squats. Also in my opinion it is not high enough either. If it hadn’t been too much work I would’ve shipped it back!

This step is great - it is a good quality and strong. Works very well for me and has a great height combined with a small footprint.

So much better than the rectangular shaped riser. Much better for step-ups and eccentric leg lowers.

i put off getting this for no good reason. glad I have it now. great addition to my basement gym.
