Tempur-Pedic Seat Cushion, Medium , Dark Navy Blue

I am a roadrunner through and through. Originally from TX, now living in ND, I make the 1,300 mile (one way) trip back 3 times a year minimum. In addition, we take two annual vacations, always by car as my husband is not fond of planes. When I became pregnant, car seats were suddenly UNBEARABLE. Even a trip to the store would leave my lower back and hips aching for hours. My problem-solving husband immediately purchased this highly rated cushion to try and alleviate my discomfort, as we had several major road trips lined up, none of them avoidable. From the moment I started using this cushion I never had an ache again. It’s extremely thick and sturdy, highly shock absorbent, and contorted perfectly. It has yet to lose the slightest bit of shape after 100+ hours of use between the both of us. The price seemed high before purchase, I didn’t understand what would make a seat cushion worth so much. After using it I can’t imagine ever needing to purchase another, it has yet to age in the slightest, so I consider it to be a valuable lifetime investment. In conclusion, if you’re looking for a seat cushion that will end your aches and never need replacement, look no further!

Tried 3 different ones before finally dropping the money on this. Excellent product. Had a Target branded one and a Walmart branded one that absolutely did not hold up. Used all for my vehicle which has terrible ride. The Tempurpedic did the trick, and the car is now tolerable. The cover is a nylon type elastic removable. I guess you could wash it if you wanted it. Like all memory foam, it is rock hard when it is cold so it takes a few blocks to become comfortable on cold days. You will literally bounce off the seat the first few blocks. For long trips, excellent support. The price fluctuates tremendously on this. Be patient, you can purchase it for less than then 3 figures, Amazon.com just loves to rip-off people with its price fluctuations.

As a helicopter pilot, I use this seat cushion for up to 8 hours a day to reduce fatigue and prevent back, leg, and knee pains. It's a lifesaver for those purposes, but it has a few design flaws. I considered buying an Oregon Aero seat cushion with the added lumbar support ($250 total and long wait for delivery) but chose this one because of the price. Likes: Very comfortable for sitting long periods of time. Durable so far. The cushion hasn't broken down at all over the past 6 months of use. Dislikes: A bit too thick. Slippery cover causes the cushion to slide around on seat, especially leather seats. It feels like sitting on a wood plank in cold weather (below 50 degrees F), so if you leave it in a cold car overnight, you won't like it in the morning. A built-in lumbar support (like the Oregon Aero product) would be nice also.

Tempur pedic has always been a company with quality products, imo. I've had a couple of their matresses and they work quite well; until the memory foam eventually breaks down and sags. That's why I put 2 latex mattress toppers on my second one. Latex is more durable than memory foam and I wanted to try compressing the memory foam over some years to make it sag evenly. Right now, though, two latex matress toppers, one firm, one soft is incredibly comfortable on the memory foam bed. This seat cushion seems to be decent quality, though. The only thing is it's too small for anyone who is larger than average; which is a lot of people in the US today, whether by being muscular, fat or both. It's only 16' wide and too small for me. I haven't tried a latex seat cushion, but imo, if you want the ultimate solution for an office chair seat cushion, grab an upper back rest cushion from a junkyard and cut it to the size you need. That's what I've done and none of these cushions can compare because the seat cushions in a car are actually made for sitting comfort.

Personally, this seat cushion works for me. It is extra firm, and it lifts my backside, so I sit with better posture. When I sit on it, which is all the time, my lower back never hurts. It gives good support. I love it. Very pleased.

This cushion is beyond terrible - hard as a rock. There's a ridge in the middle that actually hurts to sit on. I'm honestly amazed at how uncomfortable this is - and it's way more expensive than other options.

Not thrilled. I am 5’ 2” tall and small-hipped. The seat cushion doesn’t really work for me. It has a big ridge down the middle that is quite uncomfortable. I should send it back but I can’t be bothered.

Best seat cushion ever. It started as a gift after 23 years it finally wore out.My husband has a bad back and chairs were so uncomfortable. Not anymore.We love the cushion so much now we have 5 cushions. One at work 2 in car 2 at home WORTH every penny

This cushion is a bit thicker than I initially expected, but that also means it provides ample cushioning for long periods of sitting down. Product is certified made in the USA. Cushion cover is removable and can be washed. For those considering a purchase, do make sure your chairs have adjustable seat heights, because the cushion will add about 2 inches to the seat height.

Het kussen is oke maar had iets groter mogen zijn. Ik heb het gekocht voor mijn tante om in een relax zetel te leggen. Mijn tante is niet breed, weegt maar 58 kg en het kussen is maar nipt zo breed als haar heupen.

Used this from Sydney to London and back. Fantastic product. I already have a tempur mattress so this was an easy choice. Didn’t have to shift my weight every thirty minutes to get comfortable. I’ve had it for a year now and highly recommend it

I am 6 feet tall weighing 190 pounds (86 kilograms). The pad is not long enough and most definitely not wide enough to allow a comfortable seating.

I've been using this for 7 months now. Initially bought it when I was having hemorrhoid pain that was exasperated by my office chair and my car seat. Wow, this cushion exceeded my expectations and I would honestly call it life-changing since I was having such a miserable time before. Yes, it's very firm. I thought that a firm cushion might be bad for me but I found that I could sit on this cushion all day and not have an hemorrhoid pain at all. It is really expensive so I only bought one, and I would carry it between work, my car, and home, so I could use it. I just bought a second one to keep at work so I don't have to keep moving it back and forth. My partner has a SecretLab chair which is supposed to be fairly comfortable, but I have found my cushion stolen on multiple occasions and I would find it on the SecretLab chair because apparently it's just more comfortable than the default seat. I had a hard time on long-haul flights as well and I actually brought the cushion to put on the seat, and it made it much more bearable. It also fit very well on the plane seat. I don't know if the firmness will work for everyone but it absolutely worked for me. Honestly, it was the best thing I bought for myself in 2025.
