BestNestNew England Arbors Hammock Stand, White, 94.75" H

I received the BestNest New England Arbors Hammock Stand and when I opened one of the boxes and read the instructions I could tell the quality was not good and tried to return the arbor within a few days of receipt and unused. New England Arbors said they would take the return but I would have to pay for shipping, which was over $600, so I ended up keeping the arbor and trying to use it. The materials are cheap and the instructions tell you to buy wood to insert inside the hollowed out acrylic frame. There are several errors in the instruction manual, which makes me think whoever wrote the manual has not actually installed the arbor and lacks some common sense (including inaccurate lengths for the wood purchase, overlapping wood screw placement, and design flaws that make the structure unsafe). The top beams, once stuffed with wood, are waaay too heavy to be supported by a few wood screws, and the screws were so stressed from the weight that I could not get them to align with the 4x4 acrylic piece, also now stuffed with wood, that I was drilling into. There is no way that I would feel safe sitting in a swing under these heavy beams that are sagging in the middle due to the weight and not much support. None of the instructions are included on the product description and I feel like I bought a scam product--something that can't really be used but that costs so much to ship back that I have to keep it. You would do better to design your own arbor or hammock swing, this one is definitely not worth the money and you are stuck with it once it's shipped.
