I really wanted to like this, as I prefer the look of it to frame bags that hang in the frame. It's very well made, and looks smart. But it didn't work for me. I couldn't find a way of installing the front strap without interfering with my steering headset (Cannondale Badboy). It's clearly a bad idea to strap something immovable to something that is designed to pivot. And if you put the front strap on loosely enough to not affect the steering, the bag is nowhere near secure enough to not wobble.I tried it strapped to the seat post but its too fat and rubs on your legs.I returned it, and because it is well made I purchased a different one from the same manufacturer,that goes underneath the top tube.

This bike bag is very sturdy and I can confirm it is waterproof as my phone was still dry after cycling in a downpour. The only issue I find is it can run against your legs when attached to a road bike. Although it is designed for a mountain bike frame.

Good product, anyway someone stolen from my bike, that means is a good value for the money :)) I will buy another one

... whether this item was going to fit my son's bicycle as his crossbar is much thicker than the usual adult ones. I am attaching a picture so that you can compare. In the background you will see a more 'normal' type of crossbar and you can see that this item fitted the bike in front just fine so if you have one of these thicker bars then you will be all right.There is plenty of (strong) velcro to go around - far too much, in fact, if you have the thinner type - but it can easily be trimmed to your preference (just don't make a mistake !). It holds tight and does not get in the way when riding. The zip is smooth and appears sturdy.I make no comment at this point about waterproofness or longevity but, as is my wont, I will update this review if the product does not perform as it should ...FV
