Handy addition for cooks..I used it for the first time yesterday for a themed birthday cake but think practise will make perfect.

It’s very flimsy and I had trouble gutting the cake it has 2 pieces attached so when you want to cut it the other bit gets in the way I ended up using a knife job done so sorry waste my f money

One wire is thankfully tight, as it should be. But the other is loose, so can't be used.

It's flimsy, it's awkward to store, it doesn't cut very well. There are far superior solutions to this product for the task it would be used for.

I thought this would be a very useful tool to use with my cake baking. However it is not very robust or fit for purpose. I can only use it on small sponge cakes and even then it’s a struggle.

Wasn’t easy to use first time, needed a second pair of hands holding the cake... not sure if I need one or two strings or metal to cut the cake... same time it’s ‘oh so handy’! Just getting used to to it now, I’m sure!! 🙌🏻🤗

Might work on really light cakes but for a denser bake it didn't work. The blade bent under the pressure and felt like it would break completely if the force required to push it through the cake was used.
