Godsend for fine, bleached hair; works on dry hair
I have mid-length, fine, bleached hair that frizzes easily. I use this on dry hair (air or blow dried) as a finisher. 1-3 drops on my mid to ends then run anything left on top of my head.No more frizz and doesn’t weigh my hair down at all.

Great Product but use Lightly!
I have fine but long hair (dry on the ends), and while I've used the regular Biosilk Silk Therapy on and off for years, I much prefer this newer light version for my particular type of fragile hair. (My hair is weakened by periodic highlights). The viscosity is not nearly as thick as the regular Silk Therapy, and when used in the right amount (you just rub a tiny bit in your hands and then apply mostly to ends of hair) it does not weigh down your hair in the least. I apply this when my hair is towel dried a bit but not yet blow dried, and after my hair is dry you would never know it's on my hair at all, you simply cannot feel it. Like any similar product, you could apply too much and end up with gunky feeling, greasy hair, so I'll repeat that I need hardly any at all (just a few drops) to add a bit of moisture mostly to my ends. I put a couple of drops in my hand and then rub my hands together like I'm applying lotion to my hands, so it's all on my hands lightly and uniformly at first, and at that point I "pat" it onto my hair). When I'm done with the ends, my hands still have a bit of ST on them and I pat that on the hair around my head to help with flyaway shorter hairs, but I'm barely applying any product at that point.I'm extremely fanatical about not wanting to "feel" any hair products on my dried hair or have it be weighed down because my hair strands are quite fine, and this Silk Therapy Lite is wonderful. I'll add that since you use so little of it, this bottle lasts quite a long time, 5 or 6 months at least. I hope they don't discontinue it as I like it better than anything I've thus far tried (I used to love Pearatin, but that was discontinued last year and to tell the truth, I like S.T. Lite better!). Finally, the Amazon price is probably half of what it would be in a beauty supply store (if they even have it!). I first got a bottle from my hairdresser, but I wasn't able to find it in any supply stores so I was extremely pleased to find it on Amazon.Update 9/19/17: Price is now DOUBLE what I paid in January. What gives?

I must be using it wrong, it seems like the ends of my hair are feeling dryer.

Takes away dryness!
This stuff is the holy grail of hair product. I just bought it on a whim after comparing the price here to being way better than at the salon. I have really long coarse hair that is very dry from dying it the last 20+ years. I only need about a quarter amount in the palm and I work it into the lower half of my hair. It makes my hair so much softer. How does it change the texture from coarse to soft? Must be magic. It smells lovely too.

Use Daily!
Great light oil for hair that naturally brings out oil within the first couple days of a wash! I used this product every single time I wash my hair and it also helps to protect from the heat of the blow dryer and frizz from humid weather!
