This was a perfect fit for my 2014 Toyota Sienna LE. Solved the problem that I thought was an A/C issue in the summer and a heating issue this fall. Maybe my A/C unit isn't leaking after all and maybe the blend door actuator was just not diverting AC from the right spot because the actuator motor was dead.It is pretty awkward to get to it, but removing the bottom plastic above the pedals (by your knees) was pretty easy -- I did not totally remove it and only slid it up for better access. I did not disconnect the temperature sensor, so it was easy to put back. Just two 10mm bolts and a few plastic clips.

Symptom: Driver side vents blew HOT even when AC was on Max and the Climate Control system took a full 90 seconds before turning on.It took literally less than 5 minutes to remove the defective unit and install this new one. Just two Phillips screws and one electrical connector. Once installed all functions were returned to normal operation without any type of reset or code clearing required. This is a simple repair that is easily done by a novice. The most difficult part is getting your head in the driver’s footwell to see what you are doing.Perfect, Highly Recommended.

The part work for what we needed it for. However it was very hard to get to area in the car to pull the broken one and replace it with this one. The product we received was well made.

Replaced driver side HVAC blend door actuator. You will need to reuse the white toothed gear from the original part. HVAC functions all normal now.

Doesn't work

Although this actuator is physically the same, the blend door cog/gear is different. Part of the cog the same, but the part that connects to the blend door arm is isn't part of the cog setup.The actuator on the left in the picture is the Amazon part and the one on the right is the OE part. You may ask yourself why didn't I pull the part before ordering it. Well, this was for my girlfriends dad's car, so we didn't have the luxury of leaving the A/C disabled while waiting for the part to arrive.By the way, this part is a B-och to get out... Those YT videos showing how to access the blend door actuator for this specific year make car are good up until the point where they just point to where the part is. They leave you hanging on how to actually remove the actuator. Well, lucky for you, I'm here to save you time, your day and tons of frustration... Pay someone who KNOWS what they're doing to replace the part. Buy the part from Amazon and let a qualified mechanic replace the part. It's probably expensive, but let me tell you from this experience, it's worth it.

No more hot air blowing out when not wanted. Fit 2011 avalon limited perfect.
