Solid truck, well built and easy to work on
The media could not be loaded. Solid truck for the price. Upgrades are fun to most people. With out upgrades it’s still a blast. Some complain about it flipping or being not more quality material. What else do you expect from a mini crawler for $100?If you want all the higher features go spend $300-$500 dollars on a crawler. You want something super fun but does a descent job get the $100. You can spend more $ to upgrade to your perfect mini crawler.Or find DIY free mods online too. Also truck came a day and half early!

Disappointed!
No weighted wheels, no oil filled shocks, very few metal parts. $110 for a 1:24 "hobby grade" crawler made of 95% cheap plastic I expected better.I have several micro crawlers and this one has the cheapest feel to it. You're paying for a name. Performance is lack luster bouncy because of the toy grade shocks. Rolls easily and has very little grip because it lacks weight in the base of the vehicle. Buy a Panda hobby same price comes with oil filled shocks, weighted wheels and you can buy metal parts from their website.

One heck of a nice value….!!!
I have been doing RC cars since the mid 90s.I have raced 1/10 scale etc elec & gas.I saw this little RC and had to have one. This 1/24 scale hobby grade model in my opinion is a great value for the money. If you like to fiddle and modify your rc cars for real short money, using an unlimited supply of aftermarket parts then this is the one for you!The small battery will keep ya crawling for close to 30mins.DeadboltsC-10JeepsThey are all the same. And you will also have alot of fun w/o having to go 50+mph!It’s like a remote control battery powered chess piece!Any kind of junk on your floor will challengeyou to climb it!!! LOL

Lots of fun with no problems
This is a great little truck. I am surprised how much fun we have had setting up obstacles courses and racing each other. It worked great. I bought a better battery charger, but other than that a great product for the price.

Great little rig
I’ve had it for 2 days and it’s a great little truck. However, plan on possibly having to spend some extra money right off on a new motor (mine went this evening from light crawling and moderate trailing), a better charger (oem burnt up immediately on plugging in for its’ 2nd charge), and might as well upgrade the steering servo. Don’t forget a LiPo bag for safe charging.I picked up the deadbolt for $104 after tax, so after ordering new parts I’m all in so far for ~200$, which I think isn’t too bad. It’s still well worth it for me, but I’m giving it a lower scale review because it’s second run met with multiple parts failures from moderate use in dry conditions, and I wouldn’t recommend this to beginners who may not be mechanically inclined towards diy repairs. As long as you know what you’re getting for $100, and like turning very tiny screws, go for it, but keep your wallet open.**updateWhat a great little platform, and I’ve made a few upgrades and mods and it’s an awesome performer

Great first RC for kids.
My 3 and 6 year old love this! We have had our Axial Deadbolt for a few weeks, and had supervised play sessions with it almost every day. So far, so good! I am really happy with it.I didn't want to spend money on a disposable "toy" from a big box store, but my kids had older friends with RC cars, and where excited and interested in trying them out. The small scale "rock crawler" segment works well for indoor and outdoor fun. And the slower pace makes learning to control it more approachable for youngsters. I focused in on the SCX24's because they are a ton of fun right out of the box, but you can upgrade almost everything on them to make it more capable and/or more personalized. Because of the aftermarket parts availability it can be repaired, improved, and can grow with them, if they stay interested. It will negotiate a surprising amount and difficulty level of obstacles and the kids love building "challenges" for it. Has been a great way to spend time with them doing something we can both enjoy.

fun
I bought 2 of these, one for myself and one for my 6 year old son. These are fun right out of the box but need a few modifications right out of the box too. The charger that they include with the RC is dangerous and WILL cause a fire, throw it away and buy a balance charger. The first thing you should upgrade is the tires and wheels to make it climb better as the stock ones are garbage. Next would be to add some more weight to the drivetrain to make it climb a bit better. I made a course for us to drive on and we have a lot of fun with them. They are a bit pricey I feel but a lot of fun. The parts upgrades are endless for these things.

INCREDIBLE LIL’ CRAWLER!
While this easily may be the funnest ‘big boy’ I’ve ever had... It’s NO TOY! In fact, it’s more like a piece of modern art! Amazingly simple design for something that’s in fact very complicated! I’ve owned plenty of real 4x4 vehicles and they are Complicated and prone to breaking. Yet Axial has managed to shrink everything down so well... I wish they made real trucks!*as for reviews about included charger, you’re better off w a real charger w balance ports.

Fantastic little car
I gave mine a new paint job and some new wheels and tyres, first rc car I’ve had since I was a kid and I’m really impressed. It’s not a fast one as it’s designed for dirt and rock crawling but it certainly does a good job at that. I’m already thinking about picking up a few more of them one each for the kids as they only have cheap rc cars atm but this thing is awesome.

Good base to start.
Small scale so fantastic for use indoors. Loads of upgrades available and endless customisation options. It's a hobby level RC car. My plan is to upgrade it enough to end up with. I'm off to a good start so far with motor, wheel weights, and alloy Sus links. Some metal wheels next with slightly bigger tyres.

Charger seems burnt out after one charge
No way to contact seller anymore (as far as I can tell), really all I would like is to ask for a replacement charger. Car seems cool but this charger seems dodge even with it's 'QC Tested' sticker on it.
