FLUKE 362 True-rms AC DC Clamp Meter

I had a different brand of AC/DC True RMS Clamp meter, and while it did okay with the voltage, it gave very inaccurate current readings on higher-voltage solar arrays. This Fluke meter works awesome. I should have just gone with Fluke, to begin with, and I would highly recommend this meter to anyone looking to test DC current and Voltage. It is smaller than others, lightweight, and simple to use. The best part is I now know what the true current of my solar arrays instead of some crazy inflated number from my other meter that more than tripled the current reading. Do yourself a favor and buy this one.

Meter is small and easy to use. I’ve only used the DC ammeter function so far, and it’s worked well to diagnose weak solar cells without pulling connections apart. Exactly what I was hoping for.I agree with other users. I’ve had to Zero it more than with other meters. Also watch that you don’t inadvertently bump the Hold button. Size is good to work with all reasonable-sized cables. 4/0 was no problem at all. Definitely recommended.

Fluke products has always been of top quality, and this Fluke 362 is perfect for my home applications. It is easy to use and accurate. Definitely can recommend this model for the person who doesn’t need to measure current in low voltage installations. It small and clip-on designed to reach limited space areas.

Overall a great clamp on meter. With my eye site a bigger display would help but that is me and not the meter. Seems fairly accurate and give repeatable results. Overall very satisfied.

This is a grey market meter not meant to be sold in United States my package had Russian Spanish and Italian on box, I but I like the size of the small jaws of the clamp meter and it's very well made flu product just not made for sale in United States. But I would buy it again because it does DC current and has a smaller jaw to get into tight spaces

I found this helpful when evaluating my do it yourself battery backup. I can measure DC current when charging the battery and when running an inverter, without having to break the circuit.

I had another manufacturer’s clamp meter for a while until I realized there was a ghost dc current that wouldn’t zero out. Went back to fluke. This one is nice and compact and fits well into cramped cabinets.

If you need to monitor a circuit for a long period of time don't bother getting this meter as it will auto shut off even when monitoring an active circuit. Auto Shut off is nice when you forget to turn it off but not so much when you're monitoring an active circuit. If you're just doing a quick test this meter is very good provided you need something with small jaws.
