This book has some very cute items to carve. It's kind of hard for me to decide which one to do first. As I am new to carving I need to make sure it's one of the easy ones. The book came well packaged and bottom line is I am glad I purchased it.

I am still in process of whittling on several types of wood. Also, looking at which figure would be easier to start with.

Another creative book by Floyd Rhadigan. The quality of the carvings are photographed with brilliant details. Anyone who carves knows the more detailed the picture the more life you can add to a wood carving. This book will not dissapoint. If you like this subject matter you will love this book.

Bought this because I could not find my old patterns and these will sufice, very basic

Best carving book I own! (I own 15). Directions are great. Eye painting is best yet. It inspires Carver to be creative and develope their own design.

The characters in the book aren't my style and not something I want to carve.

Excellent well worth it. Have already carved two of the patterns. Floyd Radigan has a wonderful imagination.

Great introduction to carving fantasy characters, full of patterns and detailed instructions.The book takes you step by step through carving and painting a fantasy character ( Tork the Troll) and also includes patterns and information on a wide range of projects including Eric the Red, Olga (Eric's Girlfriend), Pixies, a gnome sitting on a mushroom, O'Rhadigan who could quite easily be a leprechaun and others plus there are evena selection of four bonus patterns. You have to give this one 10/10 it is excellent

Bonjour, encore un ouvrage qui vient agrandir ma bibliothèque de livre américain.Si vous raffoler de personnages créer aux couteaux à sculpter du monde fantastique, alors ce livre vous apporteras entière satisfactions . Un ouvrage dans en n'as pas besoin de savoir lire anglais, les illustrations parle d'elle même, ils y as bien 15 modèles de personnages, ex: elfe, lutin, sorcière, magicien, viking .... chaque fois un personnage et tous bien différent.Moi j'ai adorais je conseille cette ouvrage si le sujet vous intéresseCordialement Sandrine
