Pump came on time,and was everything it said it would be! It is now in the pond and is working just fine! Glad we bought it!

I found this pump worked very well. The construction also seemed very high quality. I must say that this pump was working like a champ for about 2 hours, much better than two other pumps I had used previously. Something happened and it stopped pumping water through the hose, I am reserving comment that the pump failed because I still have to investigate the reason why it stopped pumping. I am hoping it's something simple that can be easily adjusted, if not, I will return it for replacement. I really liked how this pump was working and would recommend it.

Wow. I never write bad reviews unless I got junk. This is it .... the first review ever. I used this pump for 4 months. After 4 months of use in my sump pump pit, the bottom of the pump opened up like a "can of (stinky) tuna." Welds and spot welds broke off and bottom of the pump opened up like a can. Welds are a joke. Thank God Amazon granted replacement and I requested to have 100% refund if this happens again. I will hive a shot again because Amazon assured me 100% money back if this happens again.... Overall I like this strong 1.5HP pump for this price. I could tell it has a lot of power. Wow. Welds and spot welds? Welds as if 5-year old made it with play dough. Joke. Suggestion for the manufacturer if you plan to stay in business: 1) replace your welds with stainless steel bolts, washers and nuts because your welding and spot welds are a joke. 2) Also, after 4 months of use the shaft started to rust or something from under the pump started to rust. Joke. 3) Look, if you want to make a "stainless steel pumps" and it 100% stainless steel and charge the price accordingly. I would actually pay more this is pump was the TRUE deal. Look at the pics! Really? C'mon!!!!! Weak, weak, weak, weak welds!!!! I gave a 2-Star review. 1 star because it is a respectful1.5HP pump and another star if you replace welds for 100% stainless steel bolts and stainless steel shaft. FIX IT! I gave you a chance. I decided to stay with the pump hoping I get better welds the second time and because Amazon told me I get money back if this happens again. Those two pieces of the pump shown in the pics were spot welded. This is ONE piece when you open the box. Spot weld was like a "spit" in 4 locations. Actually "spit" is big, this spot welds is of the size of a "mosquito poop" look at the pics. Who does that? Not a welder? Each weld should be at least 1in long or use stainless steel bolts! Get it right next time. I gave you a chance or money back. ***NOTE: I just received the replacement pump and installed it. I will update this review after one year of use May 2020 ***Update on end of Sept 2019. Almost 6 months of use. So far so good. Welds are holding on this pump unlike on the first one. I like how powerful this pump is. I am guessing I got 1 bad pump out of a million. So far so good. Increasing rating to 3 stars. If it lasts another 6 months I increase the rating to 4 stars. failed. this is trash. failed. sept/2022

Unit worked great especially with the full size outlet hose I bought to go with it. Large volume of water removal. Only thing is the cheap plastic handle on top broke. Would be nice is it was sturdier. I'm happy with the unit.

I purchased this to replace a 800gph pump i was using to circulate water on my pool during the off season to help circulate chlorine. The 800gph pump was too weak. This pump definitely stronger and moved quite a bit more water. The attachments were perfect to connect my garden hose and possibly a larger pool hose to it. I only used it once so time will tell. I would recommend this item.

3 stars as I bet this pump is great if you are using a large hose for the output....but took 2 stars for the documentation not saying it will not work with a garden hose. Hi, Wanted to let others know that this sump pump will not work with a normal garden hose. The pump has some sort of "protection" that will not allow the motor to spin up to an adequate energy level to push water through a garden hose. Note: that doesn't mean this pump isn't strong. it is, but you must use a large enough outlet to allow the motor to spin up to full speed....and then it is super powerful. That isn't the application I need...so this pump will not work for me. Figured I would say others the trouble of getting this pump if they planned to use adaptors to take the output down to a garden hose size. I tried everything and it will not work. I subscribe to the "buy as powerful a tool as you can find"....but in this case that backfired. I have a smaller 1/2 hp pump on order that states it can be used with a garden hose output. (3/4).
