Waterproof Feather Proof Pillow Protectors Queen Size with Zipper Set of 2

I bought these covers for my couch cushions because I was tired of feathers constantly poking through the fabric and the cushions losing their shape and volume over time. Even though the covers were slightly smaller than my existing down-filled pillows, I was able to squeeze them in without much trouble. The snug fit actually ended up being a benefit—it made it easier to fit everything back into my couch covers and provided much better support. Since installing them, my cushions no longer sag and look much fuller. Best of all, feathers are no longer poking through and making a mess. The couch feels more comfortable and looks refreshed. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase and honestly wish I had done it sooner.

Inside the bag there are two pillow protectors, something that I hadn't noticed in the ad, but a very welcoming site to find. The exterior of the pillow protector is a soft to the touch almost terrycloth pattern fabric. The protector itself is a lot thinner than I thought. It might be. The inside of the protector is billed as being waterproof and featherproof. It looks like it has a plastic liner of some type. But it doesn't feel plastic to the touch. There's no washing instructions on the pillowcase itself, but on the cardboard insert in the package it recommends that you do not dry clean, machine wash cold, do not bleach, do not iron, tumble dry low, and do not use softener. (Why not softener?) I bought these pillow protectors because I have a feather pillow that I've had for many years. That is very comfortable except for one thing. As it's gotten older, the pins of the feathers tend to work out of the pillowcase and get past the pillow cover and end up scratching me. Not comfortable, and indeed annoying. I'm hoping that this pillow protector will help with that issue. After sleeping with the new cover in place under my regular pillow cover and over the bare pillow itself, I can say that it works well. No scratchy pin feathers sticking out last night!

These are great for a surprising reason! I bought them to keep the feathers inside my throw pillow forms after switching to lighter summer covers, and they do that wonderfully without any plasticy feeling (probably due to the terry cloth texture). But they also help the down pillows hold their form/fullness better without deflating so quickly.

Works great! My Costco pillows were poking my face occasionally. Loss a star because if pillowcase is accepted up all the way, pillow, retains air and will not inflate/deflate as a pillow should. I have to keep it slightly unzipped.

Bizarre terrycloth exterior is odd texture for a pillow case but it does hold your sheet-pillow case in place. Def keeps the feathers at bay. I bought a couple of feather pillows on here and it's Feather City Explosion in my bedroom. Looks like a goose down factory exploded. These protectors do a standup job of containing all that mess. They're a little stiff and take some getting used to but not too crunchy as far as the fabric goes. I will buy more of these because they work well.

I looked at all the so called feather proof pillow covers on Amazon and these were the only one's seemed most people said they didn't get feather pokes after them. Well the reviews were right. I have had them on my 6 cheap feather pillows that were driving me crazy with feathers all over the bedroom and pokes while I slept. I would pull them all out and wash them and start over again. These cases work, plain and simple, I don't know how but I no longer get poked by my feathers. They are not noisy to sleep on, they have a semi terry cloth cover but then that goes in my regular pillow case. They are large, queen is larger than my pillows, but no worry to me, and i leave the zipper open half an inch to let air out of them which kind of works. No matter, my pillows are my favorite again/now. I love the squishy comfort of feather/down but hate the feathers. I couldn't afford pure down pillows at $200 each so this with my inexpensive Grand hotel feather/down pillows is a great answer for me. I had to addon after reading the June 13, 2021 review below that shows all the feathers, seriously No feathers have come through mine in the 4 weeks I've had them. Adding a photo of what they look like on waking with the cases pulled back, 0 feathers. Not sure if hers were defective or something seems very odd, several previous reviews showed no feather problems after buying them also and if I had seen that review I might not have purchased and I'm so happy with them. Hopefully she returned them as they do have a 10 year guarantee.

An ok enough cover but it does not stop feathers, only slows them down.

For months I’ve struggled with feathers sticking out of my throw pillows and poking me in the back. I never even thought of what could possibly help remedy this issue besides getting new throw pillows without feathers as a filling. Next thing you know, I ended up adopting a kitten and a few months into his precious life, I noticed him pulling feathers out of my throw pillows with his teeth. Considering just how dangerous it is for cats to swallow feathers, I realized something had to be done ASAP. I ended up ordering a set of these pillow protectors and I couldn’t be happier. As you can tell from the pictures, the feathers clearly poked out of the regular throw pillow covers. After pulling out what could only add up to 1 billion feathers from the inside and outside of the throw pillow covers, I put the pillow protectors over the pillow inserts and voilà no more feathers poking out!! I couldn’t be happier! Now I can live stress-free and not have to worry about my cat choking on one of the feathers. If you hate getting poked and prodded by feathers from your pillows, or if you have pets that could potentially choke on the feathers, I highly recommend getting these pillow covers. You won’t regret it.
