THis Model Number 3402 is Made in USA
I bought this huge filter #3402 for my 1998 Chrysler Sebring Conv. This filter is made locally by a US manufacturer (It looks similar to Pure One/ Purolator). If you get used to read "Made in Germany" on some other Bosch products , this one is NOT.Bosch does not have a filter factory in the US. They contracted with a local factory to make those filters, paint them black, print a code on top, and ship them in bulk to another place where the filters are labeled with a paper sticker that has Bosch info and Bosch Model that correspond with the code printed by the manufacturer. The filter comes in a box that says : "country of origin is printed on the filter". I found the codes are very close to PUROLATOR codes. All in all , I'm very satisfied with it.What else I want : It is easy on , Easy off and no leakIf you find my review helpful, please vote.

it's an oil filter; what else can I say?
I live at the far end of the earth and rely on Amazon for lots of things you probably get from the shop down the street. The nearest auto supply place is farther than I care to go for a $5 purchase; Amazon will deliver to my doorstep a decent filter, of the kind I've been relying on for decades, for the walk-in price. I like the Bosch filters, never had one come apart or do anything odd, and they have an astonishing assortment, filters for everything imaginable. I know there are people out there who spend their time taking them apart and critiquing them; I'm not one of them. I rack up some pretty good mileage and have never had an oil-related problem; then again, practically nobody does these days, so that's not remarkable.Have no fear of buying a Bosch filter from Amazon.

Well made oil filter
This filter is better made than the OEM Mopar filter. When opened the pleats were not deformed and in good rigid form as opposed to the Mopar that looked distorted and soft. I'll keep using Bosch.

It good
I have to cut open my filters for inspection because I have the early 5.7 Hemi wich has cam/lifter issues.I've found the filter does the job. It's has decent stampings, filter, and a nice bypass. Ive never come across any manufacturer flaws. The filter material is stronger than others I've inspected and very difficult to separate from steel end caps wich is a good thing.

Best Mid-priced Filter
Fit like a charm, bigger than the filter it replaced.. Engine sounded quieter than the old filter on the same oil. I viewed a lot of YouTube videos where they cut apart filters and by far this is the best mid-priced brand. Engine sounded quieter than the old filter on the same oil.

Great value
With the current price of synthetic oil, we are saving hundreds of dollars per year changing our own oil.

Works Great
It worked great for my 2002 Dodge Durango SLT Plus 4.7L. Now I see it says it doesn't fit. There wrong, it fits great with no problems. Highly Recommend!

Boxes torn - Filters dusty
My filters were covered in broke down paper, dust and filter boxes were trashed. Had to vacuum out filters and give em a wipe down. Otherwise they seem ok.
