Munchables Combo - Skull, Dog Tags & Dragon

I recently purchased this for my 5 year old who has Autism and ADHD. This helps keep him from chewing on the wrong things like toys or his hands and has been so helpful for him when he has to sit still! I look forward to sending with him to school!

Not sure who to contact but I was super excited for this to arrive for my son. When it came it came in just a little clear baggie. No munchable bag & it doesn’t have the munchable logo on the back of it. Worried I received a fake item.

Update.... he wont use it after a couple days. Bummer......I was hesitant to buy this. I question EVERYTHING. My son has a sensory/anxiety thing. Picks his upper lip, bites his nails puts everything by his mouth drives me crazy with worry over sickness etc. I was thinking this thing will just not prevent that. But I chose to go ahead and buy because it has still got to be better than what he is eating under his nails etc. I did not think he would mess with it. But he has liked it from about 5 minutes after having it on to not wanting to take it off. And I figure it has atleast have HALF of the germs as his nails because it is big enough that the part he touches to put it into his mouth does not really go into his mouth. Sooo maybe not so many germs. Now if I can get him to keep it in his shirt so the other kids dont cough on it or sneeze or whatever that would probably make it even better. Like make an easy open case someone can think of something. His lip looks much better and I am sure his sore finger tips thank me. He likes it he is 7 going on 8 in 2 weeks. I think this is a great idea for parents wanting just something to help them with this type of thing. It also seems thick enough not to wear out quickly. I seen another kid with a dinosaur tooth like one it was cool but I figure the tip would be gone quick idk. I only wrote this because I know there are other parents with children with asperger's etc. Which my son has a very very small form of. I help him with magnesium etc. No pharmaceutical. I think he likes the texture on the other side I did not know it had. Little bump like things. That was a good idea as well. Maybe put it around the bottom edge more. I dont regret buying it now. But it was a major think about. But great idea.

As far as Durability is concerned, the charm broke apart in five days. But, that being said, this product did the job. My grandson is Autistic and he chewed on his clothes. No longer! I'm one happy grandma!!

My son loves this. The product itself seems sturdy enough. However, it is poorly designed. The dinosaur face is a thin inlay and the logo on the back is raised. So my son chewed the face out and bit off most of the logo after the first day. It is a shame because the main amulet type piece seems strong and he didn't dent or pierce that part yet. But I don't want him swallowing all the little nubs. Seems like a very poor design choice. If the other styles also have the raised design and inlays I will not be ordering again. Certainly not worth the $15 since he only wore it to school once and came home with it looking like that. Not safe either because I'm sure he swallowed the bits he chewed off.UPDATE:I contacted the company and Laura responded very quickly. She offered to replace the necklace for us and mad suggestions for different styles that don't have the inlays. Based on her wonderful customer service, I have upped my rating to 4 stars. However, be warned, if your kid is a heavy chewer they will eat of the dinosaurs face on this design. There are others that are better suited. We do love the product and the pendant itself is sturdy. So I have high hopes for the new one she is sending us. I appreciate a company that stands behind its product and values its customers and their feedback. Well done Munchables!

My son really hasn’t used it, because He doesn’t like the feel of the necklace. But He loves to carry it around. I like that it’s a breakaway necklace because I was worried about him choking himself if he got it caught with playing.It cleans really easy too.

Bought this for my 8 year old son. He's a very anxious boy with sensory issues and has trouble adjusting to things. He's been chewing his shirts, hair, nails, and fingers to the point of causing himself to bleed. He was complaining his fingers were hurting, o, I took a look. The nail is barely visible now and the side of his fingers looked jagged from the chewing. Bought this chewy to help with his sensory chewing. It looks stylish, so, no one really knows it's his chewy(meaning he's not embarrassed by it!). It fits around his neck perfectly and is loose enough for him to be able to causally have the necklace part hanging from his mouth while biting the chewy. He's a bit of a moderate chewer(he's chewed through a few chewies in the past within a matter of days). It's been a week with this chewy, and still no tearing. He takes it to school with him. Just having the option to chew it has helped him relax a bit better.The chewy came perfectly packed in a small zip locking plastic pouch and a personalized "Thank You" post it from the owners of this company! Such a nice touch. It also has all the information I wanted to know about the product! We will be buying another chewy for our younger son soon!!I would strongly recommend this for mild-moderate chewers! So glad we found this. We got the dinosaur one. Thank you for making this product! It has helped my son, and in turn us(as parents), immensely!

I like that my son hasn't been able to chew it to breaking he has eaten other ones.
