A Total Game-Changer for Every Bottle!
I’ve always known that red wine needs to "breathe," but I rarely have the patience to let a bottle sit in a decanter for an hour before dinner. The Vintorio Wine Aerator Pourer has completely solved that problem. It is, hands down, the best $20 I’ve spent on my home bar. What Makes It Stand Out: Instant Results: The difference in taste is night and day. You can actually hear the "hiss" of the air being infused into the wine (thanks to the Bernoulli Effect) as you pour. It softens the tannins and opens up the aroma immediately—making a budget-friendly bottle taste like a much more expensive vintage. Zero Mess: My biggest pet peeve with other pourers is the dreaded drip on the tablecloth. The rubber stopper on the Vintorio creates a perfect, airtight seal, and the slanted acrylic spout is truly drip-less. Beautiful Presentation: It looks sleek and professional. I love the "theatrical" aspect of the bubbles forming in the aerating chamber while I'm serving guests; it’s always a conversation starter. Easy Cleanup: It disassembles easily, and a quick rinse under warm water is usually all it takes to keep it clean. It also comes with a nice little carrying case if you want to bring it to a friend’s house or a picnic.

It works pretty well, fiddly to reassemble after cleaning. There’s a better, cheaper option.
The Vintorio Wine Aerator Pourer works pretty well. I can taste a difference in the wine comparing a glass poured straight from a freshly opened bottle vs poured through this device (Yellow Tail, Merlot). The pourer entrains small air bubbles as the wine passes through the device. That said, there is a cheaper option. I’ve used a small stainless steel wire whisk for years to aerate glasses of wine. If one uses a whisk with a small diameter cylindrical handle, one can spin the whisk in a similar manner to the way people spin sticks when starting a fire. The whisk foams the wine in the glass, maximally aerating it. Tasting, comparing the 3, the whisked wine is better than the wine that went through the Aerator Pourer. The Pourer is fiddly to clean. Well, not to actually clean, it’s the reassembly that’s a bit of a pain. There’s a clear rubbery gasket that must be placed correctly or the thing leaks, that’s according to the included sticker. That gasket is thin and has to be stretched into the proper position but it tends to shift out of position as one tries to get it all the way around. So the Vintorio aerator looks nice, pulls apart easily to clean but that gasket, o-type ring, is fiddly to get properly placed. The whisk only takes a quick rinse and it’s clean. Aeration of wine is worthwhile, it makes the wine noticeably smoother, less sharp. The whisk, for me, is the way to go. The Aerator works but not as well as the whisk, and a whisk is far cheaper. I guess I might pull out the Vintorio if comparing aeration techniques for friends and family. I’m old so my time to impress people with my wine gadgetry is long past. So for me, it’s the whisk, which is better, cheaper, and no worries with that fiddly gasket. It works so I won’t return it but I think it’ll just stay unused in the drawer.

Absolutely Worth It
For such a small and relatively inexpensive add-on, the positive effect on wine can be surprising. The aeration this provides is significant. And tasty.

Well made wine aerator
Works very well. Very occasionally the tube comes off but is easily reattached. It lasted about 2 1/2 years with nearly daily use. This is our second one.

The Vintorio Aerator Pourer works well
We have two different glass decanters and a device you place over your cup to pour wine through a filter that comes out several spouts. The Vintorio Aerator Pourer works as well as any of these, is easy to use and is easy to clean. The glass decanters are easy enough to use but not easy to clean and you don’t have the original bottle to pour out of (unless you pour the wine back in). The pour-through device is hard to clean. On the first several bottles we tried with the Vintorio, we poured one glass fresh out of the bottle and one through the Vintorio, to compare. The Vintorio glass clearly had a better nose, smoother and with more flavors present whereas the bottle glass had fewer aromas present and was more “chemical-y”. The taste of the wine was notably better in the Vintorio glas. It was like the wine had awakened compared to the bottle glass. The results were as good as or better than the other decanting tools we have. And the Vintorio is very easy to clean. The only -minor- issue was that it’s possible to assemble it upside down after cleaning and the wine can spill out onto the table like one of those cheap prank glasses. Small spill and quick reassembly.

The perfect product when you are on the move and feel like having a bottle of red. It works great and definitely helps to enhance your wine experience. Also, cleaning is a breeze.

Be mindful, the quality quite cheap, the plastic very poor quality. not worth $40.
