The hinge is so small and thin there’s no way it’s going to hold up to frequent use. I already purchased replacement hardware to switch out. Our two dogs got out the gate as I was leaving the yard and one was injured. ( She recovered after some expensive surgery). I want to put in a second layer of defense, but also need a removable fence so I could take it out when we needed to get something in the house, especially to the finished basement. I was able to make this fence system work. I did give this an average rating when it comes to being sturdy. This fence works perfectly because our is light weight. However this more for looks then sturdiness. Works beautifully for my situation.
