So warm
We bought two and they really keep us warm in the winter. Now we get more use out of our patio during the year. The only thing we had issues with were the assembly. The instructions were not clear and actually were a bit misleading so be very careful when you put them together and look at the details closely. My husband is a mechanical engineer so he was able to figure it out, but it required a couple of disassemblies and reassemblies, which was annoying. Once they’re put together correctly though, these things are amazing and definitely keep you warm. Well worth the money!

Love the ambiance these give.
This patio heater is both functional and stylish. It keeps the space warm and adds an elegant ambiance to my outdoor area. I use it every day and appreciate its efficiency and aesthetic appeal. A great investment for any patio!

Good value at a decent price. Takes slightly longer to assemble. Could use some improvements.
First and foremost I already own two of the Fire Sense Pro/Commercial heaters - Fire Sense 61436 Pro Series Patio Heater with Wheels 46,000 BTU Output Electronic Ignition System Portable Outdoor Propane Heater For Commercial & Residential, which I've written reviews for. https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R2BTNH3ZXBKBGN?ref=pf_vv_at_pdctrvw_srp I decided to purchase this stye of heater because of the wider base and better stability on windier days. The traditional style heater, on days that the winds are a bit higher, I need to move and strap it down. I'm hoping with broader base, that will be a thing of the past. Also Note: The photos of my Fire Sense heater has about $200 of upgrades. -- The Commercial Grade Heavy Duty Reflector by Fire Sense (about $140) - more on this upgrade at the bottom. -- SWEET HEAT MAX - Heat Focusing Reflector for Round Natural Gas and Propane Patio Heaters ($50) I've done this for all of my deck heaters As far as this heater goes, first, the Instructions pretty much SUCK. This isn't a hard product to assemble but the diagrams could be a lot better. The detail areas in the diagrams are incredibly small and hard to decipher. It would also be nice to have the actual demensions of the hardware, as some of those pieces will need an aftermarket upgrade. The traditional style heaters take about 45 minutes to an hour to assemble on your own. The Pyramid style heater, however, takes about 2 hours or so. Primarily, because of the poor instructions and some parts could benefit from a 3rd hand. That said, if you've got a buddy that can give you a hand, give them a call and buy them a few beers afterwards. As far as overall performance and details go. -- This heater is limited the traditional 20 pound propane tanks vs the Pro Series which can accommodate up to a 30 pound tank. -- Overall heat output isn't bad. Though, the glass tube which contains and directs the flame does limit the heat output somewhat. It isn't an Apples-to-Apples comparison to that of the traditional style heaters, as the traditional style has better heat output. Upgrades: I upgraded my heater with the Fire Sense Commercial Grade, Heavy-Duty, 1-Piece Round Reflector. The heater ships with some flimsy square reflector - not sure what purpose beyond aesthetics it serves. Unfortunately, Fire Sense doesn't standardize on their reflectors. The position of the holes in the square reflector are different than that of the Fire Sense round reflectors. Hence I had to drill new ones in the upgrade. Also, the hardware that attaches the reflector the heater seam small/short and a little flimsy, Those will be getting upgraded to ensure a most secure fit possible. Overall this is pretty good heater at a good price point. So far it's doing the job that I bought it for. As of this review, I'm considering a second one.

Very nice patio heater.
Very good looking heater. Was not difficult to put together but it takes an hour or so. Be careful not to lose any screws. I lost one and the hardware store didn’t have an exact match. They found similar screws that worked to secure the upper guards with the brackets at the very top of the unit but they didn’t work on the lower part of the heater. So you have 4 screws to play with. I suppose if you call the company they will send you more screws.

Disappointing
Received the Firesense pyramid patio heater in good condition as it was well packaged and UPS took reasonable care in handling the goods. Instructions were severely lacking in clarity and the pictures were small with poor detail. All the necessary hardware (screws-77 in all) were not in a bag but had been screwed into their appropriate holes only to be removed prior to assembly. Key pieces were not marked as to front or back ot their relationship to other parts. Some parts were pre-assembled only to be taken apart prior to the assembly of other parts. The parts alligned well so that the screws were able to be inserted with minimal effort, however the threaded holes were poorly done and some were stripped prior to my assembly. The water bottle at the bottom of the unit that functioned to give the heater ballance and additional weight was poorly engineered. There was an ill fitting plug at the top that caused the water to leak out when the heater was tilted and moved using its attached wheels. This plug was in addition to a screw type drain/filler hole. The top plug was not accessable without removing 4 bolts and the propane tank retaining ring. The diffuser lid (top) was very "flimsey" and not much thicker than heavy duty aluminum and as a result the lid warped considerably during the heating process. Had I not been somewhat negligent in my research I would have purchased a unit from another manufacturer that used more refined engeneering principals and a heaver gage material. To me this is a very basic heater with a very limited life-span. You would be well advised to look elsewhere.
