Altus Athletic Altus Standard Spring Clips

I was hoping to use these on a Reebok 1" straight bar. No luck. Although they're advertised as "1-inch standard clips" they hardly grip a 1" bar. A 10-pound weight will easily push these clips right off the bar.

I needed for a one inch bar for ab work; These clips fit my one inch bar perfect. No problem whatsoever.

Based on reviews of this collar and other spring collars not fitting bars properly, I decided to take one of my dumbbell bars to the local stores and try. Dick's had some no name ones that were too small for my Weider 1" spin lock bars. So I went to Sports Authority, which had these. They fit fine. I bought two pair, though I only needed one. I wanted to make sure I had another just in case.I just finished my workout and they did what they are supposed to do, held my weights steady on my bars.
