Excellent strap and value.
I play acoustic guitars. The strap length I need is 42.5". This strap offers plenty of adjustment. The product dimensions look a bit goofy as listed, (9.4 X 7 X 2.6), but the 2.6" is indeed the width of the strap. (Probly' shipping dimensions).A tooled leather strap like this would cost $60-$100 if made in the United States. This one's made in Canada. It's split grain with a stamped/embossed leaf and flower design. The stitching that attaches the garment-quality leather to the suede backing makes it look really nice. It does not have piping. The strap is a LOT more supple than a new all-leather strap would be so there's no break-in period to get the stiffness out of it: it's flexible and comfy right out of the box.The only complaint about any new guitar strap is the size of the pin holes. It seems they always have to be enlarged and the slit made longer. This strap is no exception. (Glad the pin holes are not stitched).

Beautiful Black Leather Strap
This is a beautiful strap. I got a Martin Leather Head Stock Strap Tie to attach it to the neck of my acoustic guitar and at a maximum length of 53 inches, this strap was the perfect length for my playing preferences. If you like your guitar below your hips, find another strap. The underside of the strap in a beige color. It doesn't bother me that it's nother black. It is a soft leather/suede like material that grips the shoulder well...so if you like the slipperiness of a nylon strap, stay away.

Awesome on a budget.
It is leather, for barely over $20, not too mention how awesome it looks strapped to my Widow Warlock B.C. Rich axe.Only potential complaint is that I had to take off the strap mounts and put the narrow end through the strap holes (still a super tight fit) and then remount them on the guitar, no way it was ever going to go on otherwise, no problem since my strap mounts are only philips head screwed on, but other guitars might have harder to remove mount nubs.

Think I'm gonna buy another . . .
A Guitar Strap is a subjective thing, much like your favorite pair of boots or your everyday hat. They should be of a quality leather and comfortable to wear, but also appeal to your style. Well--this strap is much nicer than the picture reveals. Soft, quality embossed leather in a very attractive (and cool--no matter if you are retro or contemporary) paisley. Butter soft suede lining. Stitched around the perimeter and button loops. Nice. Subtle. Classy. Comfortable. Think I'm gonna buy another . . .

Nice quality
This is, for the price I paid for it here on Amazon (far less than what it is currently selling for) a very good buy. At the current price of almost 30 bucks, I would pass or look at other options but that is just me. The leather is attractive, thick enough, soft enough for the price, and I found the length to be more than long enough for me personally. I almost have it on the shortest possible setting and there is far more room to let out. Only really tall people, big people, or "low players" will be disappointed perhaps. I only have a few very MINOR complaints and of course my complaints are subjective so YMMV. One, the back side of the strap is not black. It's a blue/grey color and I didn't realize that. You can see a tiny bit of the greyish color in the photo but not enough to really get an idea of what the backside looks like. I assumed incorrectly that both sides were black. Two, the embossed design is a little feminine for my tastes. All that said, it is nice and some will love it. Quality at the right price. Easy to adjust. Looks like it will last. Solid four stars despite me personal opinion.

Great item
I had no surprises upon receiving the guitar strap. It was real leather, didn't look at all used (good thing since it said it was new) and the tooling was all very good. Soft leather too. It was a gift for someone and they liked it so much they were thinking about buying another one for their other guitar. Great value too; leather straps are hard to find like this one, the one I found was $60 so this was definitely a deal.

Not for me!
The material used is fine. The looks are fine. The length is horrible. This is too short for most adults that play guitar. It felt like I was holding my guitar around my neck instead of off my shoulders. I attached it by the longest way possible and it was well short of what I could use. To me this was a worthless purchase. I just tucked it into a drawer and it will sit there and not be used again.

Cheap and rough leather.
Cheap and rough feeling. Much "residue", little chunks of leather that peel off as you use it (white-shirt wearers beware). Much hassle to simple tighten and loosen. Took me maybe 15 minutes just to get the right length for my acoustic guitar. Don't bother. Go to a local GC and buy one of those nylon straps.
