I have a Monoprice sound isolation shield that weighs 11 lbs. Will the Pyle stand support the weight of this shield?

Mine does not. We are using it with a Yeti mic with an isolation shield and it seems that no matter how hard I tighten it, it droops.

why are you limiting 3 per person? I want to order 5!

No clue. But in my experience, I would not purchase even one. The two I bought, not a single joint holds, no matter how tight I turn the screw. Functionally useless in my view.

can the boom arm be removed or unscrewed & if arm is removed, is the stand threaded or can a mic clip be attached if the boom arm is removed?

Yes it is removable and threaded so you can attach a mic, a sound shield, etc.

Is the mic thread removable if needed to replace with a difference size?

No. 5/8 inch only. You can purchase adapters for European sizes or even for cameras.
