Best soft wax I have tried yet!
This is possibly the best wax I’ve ever used in my life. I’m at home waxer but use professional product and wax pretty much my entire body. Are you soft wax on my face and off my legs because the hairs are so fine. This wax gets all of them and you need very little to get the job done. The formula is absolutely phenomenal. I’ve been previously using another brand for years and I’m thinking about switching my hard wax to this brand to see how that goes as well. I believe my old less than stellar wax pot has the temperature off a bit but this tin full is perfect at 163-165

No more unibrow!
Feels great! I’ve used it for my face so far and it really grips everything, even peach fuzz but it doesn’t hurt to pull off! Even better if you do it fresh out the shower, dry off and apply a light dusting of baby powder to where you’re going to wax. Didn’t have to pluck or rewax my eyebrows for about another month which is saying somethig because I have extremely bushy eyebrows.

Great product - Easy to use even for a Newbie!
This review is for: Satin Smooth Aloe Vera Pot Wax, 14 Ounce since there are a few different types of wax in this listing. I have never waxed my legs before. I go to a person for my face and was always frustrated with shaving my legs (so I rarely did it). I decided to give it a go and purchased this wax after reading the reviews. I have to say, it was super easy to use and I love the results!! Some tips though ... First of all this particular wax is NOT a hard wax (there is a hard wax in the listing, but this one is not), so be sure to buy strips to pull the wax up with. You will also need wooden sticks to spread it out with and something to melt the wax. Upon reading another review, I went with a candle warmer instead of the more expensive wax melter thingy. It worked perfectly! But you have to give the wax time to melt. I would say mine took about an hour to get to the right consistency. It will make your life so much easier if you just wait until it's a little thinner. It will spread much easier on your skin. If you are brand new to waxing your legs, I highly suggest laying down an old towel and be patient. It may get messy, but once you have the method down, it works perfectly. When you put the fabric strip over the wax, rub it down real good, getting the edges of the wax and everything. Run your knuckles over the whole strip 3 or 4 times to be sure it adheres well and the edges are really caught. I saw my wax lady do this and it really helps with getting all the edges up when you pull. Most likely you will have residual sticky stuff on your skin, something like GiGi's wax remover will help with that. My skin is so soft and smooth after using this! Normally I have leg stubble about half a day after shaving. It has now been a full 24 hours since I waxed and my legs are still so smooth. I am in love!

The Smoothest, Creamiest Wax I've Ever Used!
This Satin Smooth Zinc Oxide wax is truly exceptional, especially if you have sensitive or easily bruised skin. I've tried dozens of waxes, and this one stands out for its flawless performance. When I use this wax, I find that processed is quicker and less painful. Picks up all the hair very well. All you need is two passes the most. Definitely will be buying again.

Excellent wax - be aware of what’s not included
As someone who’s used liquid wax for a long time, I can say that this wax is amazing. It definitely works well for fine to medium hair (upper lip), and grips the hair without hurting the skin. Got a clean pull on the first try. There are some things to be aware of though before purchasing: - the strips and applicator are NOT included. you’ll need to purchase your own strips and wooden applicators - the container is really unwieldy - when you open the wax, even in a cool environment, it practically oozes out and it’s difficult to close again because the wax seeps out and around the lid - it says you need a warmer for this — I had (mistakenly) assumed that I could just use a microwave. maybe do, but the directions mention a warmer. I ended up taking a little bit of the wax and microwaving it in a bowl So overall - great wax, just be aware of these details

If you like pain buy, if not STAY AWAYYYYYYY
OMG. I have been waxing myself from head to toe since I was 12 years old... thats more or less about 15 years experience now!!! I have always been a fan of GIGI all honey purpose wax! Its perfect, grabs on to the hair from the root and with one quick pull VOILA all goneeeeeee..... and after a while it DOESNT EVEN HURT!!!! NOT EVEN when you wax in the most sensitive of areas!!!!! I decided I wanted to try Satin smooth organic wax, merely bc of all the reviews and I said HEY WHY NOT, its Satin, its smooth and its organic!... I bought this plus an additional gigi JUST INCASE. I decided to try the satin organic wax. The smell is just fine, the texture is so creamy! its more of lotion than the kind of wax that I am use to. I put it into my warmer as I always do--- and let it heat up for the usual 45 mins. The wax was warm but not hot and so i thought okay well this should be fine... i tried on a small patch of my underarms... quick Pull and NOTHING CAME OUT!!!! and OMG OMG OMG OMG HOW DAMNNNNN PAINFUL! I put some more wax on the same patch to try and remove it....and another pull and nothing!!!! I managed to try this about 5 or 6 times on the one patch before some was gone...I had to do this for my entire armpit... it was so painful that I can't even describe it!!!! What normally takes me 10 or so minutes to do, both armpits that is, took me 2 hours and 15 mins!!!!!! NOT including the heating up time!!!! It was not until I decided to put on my cooling aloe vera gel for post waxes that the burning became unbearable. I was unable to sleep on my arms last night...and all clothing that touches my armpit hurt. I couldn't even put on my backpack as the lightest touch of the strap was unbearable. My underarms are completely erythematous and swollen!!!! I WISH I CAN RETURN THIS!!!! as IT IS 10 or so dollars for excruciating pain and time consumption. The can says ideal for all kinds of hair think and coarse. I have latin roots and therefore i have very thick thick thick black coarse hair..... i don't know if this is the reason of the hair not coming out so easily, or if this kind of wax is just not ideal, or maybe this kind of wax has a special type of instructions to use on underarms. I will have to now deal with the red painful pitts, and probably a dark scar afterwards!! DONT BUY THIS.

I've been a waxer for a few years now and have always stayed in the satin smooth brand because they're waxes are so good for my sensitive skin. I tried this one out and it's my new go to wax! It does have a fairly strong fragrance, but it's about as pain free as waxing goes! I hope they never change the formula or discontinue it!

Maybe this due to lack of experience with soft wax but this didn't work for me. I prepared both the hair and skin before waxing and on my first strip, it ripped the top layer of my skin clean off, even though I had put down powder first. This product is not for me, I'll be returning to the Babyliss hard wax.

I bought this hard wax in advance for when I ran out. Didn’t think to read it and upon opening it I realized it’s cream wax… product is good but product isn’t good when you have no strips for it.

I have been using this wax since 2018, and have used various types of their soft wax. I'm going to write this review aimed at beginner/novice DIY waxers. *For the advanced crowd: 100% recommend the soft wax, haven't tried the hard wax. FIRST THINGS FIRST: if you haven't watched *multiple* youtube vids on the basics of DIY waxing, as well as for the SPECIFIC body part(s) you intend to wax, or the difference between hard and soft wax, stop reading this and go do that. At home waxing is ***NOT*** something you should be figuring out as you go after you've already bought a product. Watch videos from different channels and find one that has solid instructions to prep your skin and hair pre-wax as well as post-wax care instructions, and very clear visuals and instructions on how to wax correctly. Make sure you have the correct tools and are using them correctly , as well as having the appropriate products. Seriously y'all, this shit is no joke; the reason people burn their skin has nothing to do with the wax itself, and everything to do with lack of knowledge and preparation. Most of the critical reviews and answered questions I've read about this product are coming from people who do not know how to wax correctly, don't understand the properties of the wax they're using, or don't know the difference between hard and soft wax (TEMPERATURE MATTERS YA'LL!). Lastly, actually read the NAME and DESCRIPTION on *the FRONT of each container*. All of the different waxes are NOT the same; they have a very clear description on what each one is specifically designed for (HAIR TYPE MATTERS Y'ALL!). As for my personal experience with this product: I have never received a gross looking/possibly used container. If that ever happens, I'll ask for a replacement and update this review to let you know it goes *pinky swear*. I'm a redhead with verrrry fine blonde body hair as well as facial hair, but dark coarser hair under my arms, bikini area, and brows. But my "coarse hair" is very different than people of a different genetic background than mine. For instance, my Italian boyfriend who is covered in dark, coarse hair, I would not use the wax I use for myself on him. I wanted a wax that was effective for all my various hair types rather than having to use different wax for different areas. I started out with the Satin Smooth Aloe Vera Wax with Vitamin E (that's the name as written on the front of the container). Description on the front of the container says that its ideal for fine to medium hair, contains aloe to help condition skin, for sensitive mature skin types, for all body parts. 8/10, it did the job, but I felt like it wasn't as great on my upper lip (in terms of getting a strong grip on all the fine hairs) as it was for my under arms and bikini, and it also left my upper lift with a sting-y feeling post-wax. Still, I used most of the container before ordering a new one. Since then I have been using (and have repurchased multiple times) the Satin Smooth Ultra Sensitive Zinc Oxide Wax (that's the name as written on the front of the container). Description on the front of the container says for fine hair removal, ideal for fine to medium hair, suited for delicate, blemish-prone skin, for facial and ultra-sensitive areas. And this stuff is *perfection* for me everywhere, face, underarms, and bikini. No more sting-y post wax feeling, and really is superior for waxing my very fine upper lip hair. One last note, I've seen people complaining about wax being stuck to the lid/very messy. Soft wax is, well, soft. It's going to go with gravity, so if your Amazon package was left sitting in a way that your wax container wasn't sitting upright, then give it a few hours to sit upright so that it will slide back down where it's supposed to be instead of on the lid. I hope this was helpful, and please remember to DO YOUR RESEARCH.
