Good whistle comparable to Roy G sport dog. Lanyard just black string type-adequate, but not special. Everyone should wear a whistle for safety not just for dog. Useful for house keys as well-need better lanyard.

Works OK for dogs, but I like the tone of the large one better, but it does a good job.

This is my first plastic ACME whistle. (I'm a huge fan of their metal whistles, having owned them for 50 years.) I kept a couple of other plastic whistles, having tried and tossed them over the years. One is a Fox 40. Until now, I thought that was about as good as you could get with plastic. The ACME 660 blows it away - pun intended. It is incredibly easy blowing, light, tough, and LOUD. Loud and high-pitched ... higher than an ACME 60.5. In fact, it is just short of shrill. It WILL get attention. Any reasonable blow on the 660 will give a classic pea whistle sound, which differentiates it from pea-less warbling-type whistles with multiple holes, which have different sound qualities at different pressures.A great whistle in modern materials - and still in the Thunderer family of tones. The 660 is an excellent choice for a keychain whistle. Light and in a bright color, you won't mind carrying it, and it's easy to find instantly.

This Acme Thunderer 660 is one of the loudest whistles I have ever heard and I also own these other whistles: Acme Tornado 2000 Whistle, SportDOG Roys Commander Whistle, Scotty Life Saver Whistle with the two Synthetic peas, UST JetScream Whistle, Fox 40 mini, Fox 40 original, Fox 40 pearl, Fox 40 sonic blast, Wind storm whistle and then the all mighty Storm whistle.So when I say this Acme Thunderer 660 whistle is super loud and the easiest whistle I have ever blown, believe me, it is.This Acme Thunderer 660 is one a hell of a whistle. It also comes in black if you don't like yellow.The only improvement I think that might make this 660 whistle better is if they used a Synthetic pea like in the Scotty Life Saver Whistle has in it, because these Synthetic peas in the Scotty whistle will not absorb moisture or freeze.

Incomplete shipment and open package. Not happy but not worth the effort to return.

I bought these for my kids football coaches and now we can spot them from across the field. Pretty cool especially when you are trying to keep tabs on the wearer.

Exactly what I was looking for. Feel like a referee at the dog park! Loud and clear they hear it everytime. Think it is well worth the money and yes would purchase again.
