Jergens Lavender Body Butter Hand and Body Lotion, Moisturizer for Women, with Essential Oils for Indulgent Moisturization, 7 Oz

I deal with sensitive skin, allergic dermatitis plus a severe allergy to ingredients in many soaps & skin products. The Jergens Essential Oils line is one I can use & I love them all. Sandalwood is a complex scent that can be so versatile, it's calming for me. So I utilize this wonderful body cream as part of my nighttime routine. I have another nighttime lotion I use that contains lavender, chamomile & melatonin, then I use this sandalwood on top so I'm wrapped in comforting scents when I go to bed. I live in the desert, so with the heat, dry skin is a real problem. This thick cream soaks in leaving my skin smooth, not greasy & without making me feel like I have a bunch of gunk on me. The price is very affordable. Even though I'm on a budget, I'm able to make a tube last because it's such a good quality product.

I think I found a favorite lotion! Normally I use other brands, but I have always loved Jergens soap and Lavender essential oil, so I thought I'd try this. I have to say this one is a winner-- the triple butter combination hydrates your skin without a greasy feel or harsh dryness afterwards, that seems to be so common with lotions and creams with essential oils added. This one has a nice light feel to it. It not only softens and hydrates the skin with a nice barrier, the smell is absolutely delicious and of pure lavender essential oil! And it does not take very much on my hands, just a small amount. It both soothes the skin and calms the nerves as well as provides a nice scent. I will definitely be back for more of this, and highly recommend it! Exceptional quality skin care at a great price too! Great for a gift or adding to a gift basket, or to keep in your desk to soothe and uplift you at work, or on your bedside table, kitchen sink or bathroom.Update: I have since purchased the Sandalwood too and it is true-to-scent and equally as nice. I did notice other notes of scent in it initially, but it is mainly Sandalwood essence and is quite pleasant!

Smells nice. The texture is kinda thick in a good way. Really hydrates the skin. Good price for the size of the bottle. The longevity of the moisture lasts awhile but I wouldn’t say the smell does. Easy to apply.

Nice thick lotion, absorbs well. My only complaint is the scent is not strong enough.

Great body butter and smells amazing! Ordered a couple of these for coworkers this Christmas. It goes on good and absorbs quickly, leaving skin feeling well moisturized.

I love this lotion. This has a light clean fragrance. It leaves my skin soft and smooth with a moisturizing feel that lasts hours. I don’t wear any perfume products and I don’t need them with this lotion. I don’t want everyone to smell me when I enter the room.

Excellent product, gentle, lovely rose fragrance, excellent hydration and skin protection

It is not a healing or highly moisturizing hand cream like Gold Bond's Healing Hand Cream. It may be an unfair comparison. This is light weight and may be more "comforting" (as label implies) than for chapped, dry skin. I like the scent of sandalwood but this has more of a floral and cinnamon scent and maybe a little sandalwood. Not unpleasant but not exactly what I was expecting. It would be good to use under gloves or when handling paper when a thicker or more greasy lotion would be a problem.

Its smells like a really old wet towel. Do not buy.
