Conair Xtreme Instant Heat Ceramic Hot Rollers with Heated Clips, Multi-Size, 20 Count

Being said, my hair style has always been boring. When I do try to be "fun", it's extremely time consuming for me to curl my hair. By the time I go around curling my entire head, half of it is already going limp. The only thing that ever worked and that I enjoyed using, up until now, is the Instyler I own. It' the first thing I actually thought made my hair look cute curled! However, the constant use is quite damaging, and I waste TONS of hairspray to get the style not to go flat. Recently I've been looking for a healthier alternative, and I ended up purchasing these hot rollers! One of the best decisions I've made! This is my very own first set, and I can't tell you enough how much I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the way my hair comes out with this. The hot rollers give my hair shiny, voluminous, and soft "romantic" curls. I use little to no hairspray at all, and my hair stays beautiful the entire day! Seriously, I am one of those people who never put the time in to type up a review (and a long one at that!), but I'm in such of a good mood cause of my hair, I just had to! I read the negative reviews about the clips not holding very well, and I can tell you I experienced the same issue at first too. Then I found out it was the way i was rolling my hair into the barrels. You have to roll your hair in towards your scalp. Me being an amateur, I thought it didn't matter. Oooh, it definitely does. Haha. The clips won't secure your hair very well if you roll it the other way. So if your initial turn out isn't so good, my advice is to try as much as you can to follow the directions to the T. Before you blame the hot rollers for not working, look up tutorials online, practice a little, and try again. You're going to end up loving the way your hair looks! I know I do now!

I READ MOST OF THE REVIEWS ON HERE BEFORE I BOUGHT THIS ITEM,I DIDNT THINK IT WOULD WORK CONSIDERING IT WAS SO CHEAP AND THAT IT HAD ALOT BAD REVIEWS.I GOT IT YESTERDAY AND TRIED IT AND I LOVE IT.MY HAIR IS SHOULKDER LENGTH MAYBE A TAD LONGER.I DCONT SEE HOW IT COULD HAVE CURLED ANY BETTER.THE CLIPS THAT SECURE YOUR HAIRNARE A LITTLE LOOSE BUT STILL WORK IF AS LONG AS YOUR NOT JUMPING UP AND DOWN,THE CURLERS HEAT UP REALLY FAST AND I ACTUALLY ENJOYED PETTING THEM IN, MOSTLY COOL TO THE TOUCH EXCEPT A FEW PLACES HERE N THERE ONTHE ENDS WHERE THE SOFT METERIAL ISNT COVERING,IVE ONLY USED IT ONCE BUT IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIANCE, THE CURLS IT GIVES ARE WONDERFULL AND LASTEDEVEN OVERNIGHT,HAIRSPRAY HELPED IM SURE.. I RECOMEND THIS ALTHOUGH IT IS ONLY MY SECOND SET OF HAIR CURLERS

I've loved Conair products for years, and usually choose them above other mfg. While this is a very good product, there are some things that I feel could be improved - which resulted in 4 stars (vs. 5) Good: rollers are COOL to the touch (yay); There are more of the medium size which I use; heats VERY quickly, Clips are very easy to use - unlike the old wire clips There are more of the medium size curlers which I use (see pictures attached - the sizes of curlers are actually a little smaller than their old curlers). My hair seems to have extra lift from these curlers -- and the curl lasts a long time (even in humidity). Needs Improvement: The clips are plastic - and directions tell you to let them heat (in the right side of the unit on a hot piece of metal) - we all know what happens to plastic that is exposed to heat - I can't see these lasting long (and likely requiring me buying more); Only 3 of the clips can fit in the unit at a time - inconvenient to have to insert another one after I use one, and then it is supposed to heat up before I use it - not really efficient. Personally I haven't noticed any difference between using the heated vs. unheated clips. But why waste the space in the case for only 3 clips?? NO ON -OFF SWITCH - YEAH, the "switch" is the "plug" - just unplug it from the wall. I find this a bit on the cheap side (not made in USA with American customers in mind?). Back to the clips -- where do I store all of them - there's no room in the case, and they didn't give me a bag. Fortunately I had one of my own that I could put enough in for daily use and save the remaining ones (see picture attached)-- for when they start breaking. They should have included some sort of storage container (besides a plastic packaging bag). So, I'm keeping them, but am also hoping that Conair actually sees reviews from customers so improvements can be made.

I bought these curlers after reading other reviews, both good and bad. I have a set of flocked heated rollers for use at home in Ireland (so Ireland/UK voltage, and couldn't use them in the US) and I wanted a set to use for traveling in the US. PAY ATTENTION to the reviews saying that the clips that come with this set are terrible! They are truly awful and fell out of my hair as soon as I put them in! When I did manage to get them to stay, they left marks on my hair. I didn't get a chance to get u-shaped clips during this trip, but I definitely will for my next one - I ended up securing the rollers with regular kirby grips, which was not ideal! The rollers themselves are good, but not great - I usually use the 'jumbo' and 'medium' rollers from my other set, and these create good volume and nice loose curls. With this set, I had to use the 'medium' and 'small' rollers to get curl. The packaging/instructions say they heat up in a few seconds - this is also not true - I would give them 5 minutes or more to reach a good heat. Also, because the edges aren't raised, I found that my hair both slipped off the roller, and got caught in the gap where the roller sits onto the heating element - although that might possibly be solved by using the right clips! Considering how cheap these rollers are, I don't regret buying them, but they do take a little getting used to.

This is great in a last minute pinch. This would actually be a great gift idea. They do get pretty hot though. I still use mine

Son súper prácticos!! Es una muy buena cantidad de tubos y cada uno con su respectiva pinza. Se percibe un poco de calor al tocarlos sin llegar a quemarte, pero por seguridad es preferible usar guantes para calor.
